The only cons were the check in procedure - which is a bit inconvenient. It only opened few hours before noon, and there's only a few nice cafe nearby to wait around (if you arrive early in the morning, make sure you browse where to wait).
The kiosk open time and the check in time was also separated by few hours, so I ended up dropping my bag there for few euros, and kill time around the city before I could check in. Kiosk size is too small to wait around, and also it needs few minutes to walk from the kiosk to the apartment building.
But apart from that, I loved the space! It's literally just next to the metro station, a walking distance to the train station + airport bus stop, and the room itself is sparkling clean! I booked the single room and luckily, the room has balcony overlooking the road intersection! The room is also equipped with refreshment, hanger, drawer and cute decoration. Restroom is sparkling clean as well -- they just need to do some repairment on the shower door since the water keep leaking from inside.
I had quite a challenging trip before I came to Milan and I went to Milan just for a 2 days transit. Personally I didn't really have plan there. Being able to just chill around and relax in a comfy room while still being in a location where I can easily access other places, was really a reward for me -- and therefore in this case, I gave 5 stars.
I booked a one-person room. the bed was small but the apartment was clean with nice view. the room had some water, water-heater, coffee and tea. plus it was next to central station and outside of the door is the metro station Sondrio. common bathroom for 3 other rooms on my floor. but never had a problem.
its a good choice for that price
Been here 3 times this year always very clean and comfortable, kettle in room very handy for making a coffee, bathroom regularly cleaned stylishly decorated easy to check in at the travel office near milano centrale station with good conections to the rest of the city ,will be back my favourite place to stay in Milan .
The room was correct just in front of the metro. The rest of the apartment quite big, the bed comfortable and everything new (IKEA style). Toilet and shower together, to share with another room. It is an ancient milan building not far from central station. The neighborhood is not nice, but safe and you can go everywhere by metro. The negative thing is how to collect keys. You have to go to their "office" and, after a long trip, you don't necessarily want to walk to get your keys. Then you have to pay 3 euros per person, daily, as a tax (not mentioned in the reservation). Breakfast almost unexistant better to grab a cappuccino in a bar on the street.
Overall the room and location were both fantastic.
The 3 star is mainly due to the experience as a whole. The check in process was a little sketchy with the staff not available in the office when we turned up with a 15 minute sign on the door. We checked in and they didn't accept card to cover city tax either so had to get cash. Also seemed as though the staff made up the rules as they went.
Cost of 3 euros quoted to store luggage after check out by staff but info in room quoted 2 euros. Really is a menial amount I realize this however the argument from the staff still came back to prove us wrong.
Despite the service I would return as the room was great
