The hotel is a long vaporetto ride from the bus station but a great location once you arrive with a short walk from the Giglio stop and two stops to San Marc. The hotel has aged a bit but has that nice Venetian ambiance. The staff were all very nice and helpful. My room was a nice size with a comfortable bed and there was a/c and wifi. The breakfast selections were varied. During this time of Corona we couldn’t serve ourselves so stood behind a rope while they got us what we wanted. We all wore masks. I highly recommend this hotel.

My partner and I stayed here just before the Italy was put on lockdown. Despite the quietness of the city from the lack of tourism, I must say the hotel maintained professional, friendly and remained in good spirits with us. They made every effort to make our stay enjoyable - they really were fantastic and even arranged something special for my partner's birthday.
We were upgraded and were so happy with our room directly facing the church. I'm sure without the upgrade we would've been very happy as the standard of the rooms are just perfect. Very clean, spacious, and the bathroom was just fine with an excellent shower.
The hotel was the perfect location for us, not far from St. Marks square and Rialto Bridge.
We also had breakfast with a good selection to set you up for the day.
When I visit Venice again I will be sure to stay at this hotel. Given the current situation in Venice, I hope things will pick up not just for this hotel but for the many businesses that have felt the blow of the virus.

Dear costumer, We hope you're all right! thank you for your kind and valuable review! We are happy to know that we will be a beautiful and unforgettable memory, together with that Venice you saw empty, particular and surreal, just before the Coronavirus era! We look forward to having the pleasure to see you again, in a very near future, in a better time for everyone! Regards Rossella

This hotel is an excellent choice,it has lots of character, the location is fantastic, so central and completely quiet at night, the staff all very friendly and polite.
Thank you for the upgrade and the beautiful large room overlooking the Campo, the church is right in front of the windows - magnificent. There is everything you need, the bathroom is excellent, stylish and very modern, the best rainforest shower ever! It is very clean, white quality cover in beautifully patterned fabric on the bed and nice Venetian style touches in the bedroom and the hotel in general.
Thank you also for serving very good breakfast in a beautiful setting including healthy vegetables with olive oil Mediterranean style and wonderfully tasty and good quality hot chocolate and cappuccino. I noticed the real silver cutlery, tea and coffee pots.
The bonus of the Chorus card is a nice gift to the guests.
A special place in Venice.

Nice position for this hotel. From the room, view on a beautiful church. The room was typically decorated, silent, clean and well heated. The bed was large and good. Breakfast various (salted and sweet). The people of the hotel was welcoming, helpful and pleasant.

Fine for what we needed it for (3 night sight seeing stay) but a few things irked us a bit. Bed was quite hard. Pillows were wafer thin. Shower head mount was flimsy so couldn’t position the shower without it moving about. On the plus side room was clean, shower pressure was good, heating in room was excellent.

Breakfast was fine. Juice, cheese, ham, breads, pastry, cakes, boiled eggs etc. Table were tiny and close together. No dishes were cleared from the table during our time sat there so cereal bowls etc once used just cluttered up the tiny table. Not sure if this is the Italian way of doing things... Every tea pot we were given leaked when used so we repeatedly soaked the table cloth with tea by accident.

Service was friendly in the breakfast room and at reception however we were left the note shown in the photos. This really irritated me as the hair straighteners were on a heat proof mat! We do not need to be told not to burn the furniture just like we do not need to be told not to blow our nose on the curtains or wipe our bums on the bed sheets!!

Booked online and was directly across from the beautiful Santa Maria del Giglio and Square and the main touristy areas. You are within about a 5 minute walk of St Marks Square, super close to Giglio water taxi (no chugging luggage around). Rialto Bridge is about 12 minute walk. Bel Sito has an awesome breakfast bar to get your day started properly. The hotel is smaller, more personal and worth much more than I paid (~$80USD/night).

Dear Madame, we have a few rooms with bathtub and mostly with shower. Rooms and bathrooms are different one from the other. Let me know something more about your booking in order to find the best solution for you and your mother. Palazzo Grassi is only a 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, but there is also the possibility to reach it with the vaporetto, only two stops (Linea 1 from stop Giglio to Accademia stop, changing there with Linea 2 till San Samuele, one stop only ). Looking forward with pleasure of welcoming you, My best regards Rossella
