We drove up hoping to get a room for the night and were given a large room with an extra mezzanine and big bathroom. The rooms were furnished with antique bits and pieces and had two comfy double beds, one on the mezzanine level which was reached via a wooden ladder.
The windows from the room and double aspect bathroom looked out over the lovely countryside. We had a great nights sleep after finding our way back from dinner in Gubbio as it was pitch black and quiet.
We were looking forward to breakfast, which was included in the 65 euro room price, but sadly there was a power cut in the morning which meant that not only was there no hot water (indeed hardly any cold water either) but no hot coffee. The cake, pastries and homemade jam served in the tiny dining room were nice as was the fresh apple juice but we did miss a hot drink.
There is a large, disused pool which must have once been beautiful and we gathered from the lady owner that she had changed from an agri because of all the hard work. Hence the abandoned pool.
This agriturismo is set in a quiet location in beautiful Umbria. The region has a lot to offer and nearby Gubbio is a nice village.
The whole place feels very cosy and charming and our room was nice & rustic.
We enjoyed spending some relaxing time by the pool after a day of many lovely impressions.
We found the lady of the house to be very welcoming and friendly.
A special word about the restaurant; loved the delicious, unpretensious, fresh and local food!
Very good price/quality balance.
We had a super agriturismo experience here!
We can't speak highly enough of our experience of this place. From the moment we arrived Maria-Teresa was so warm and welcoming. The house is beautiful, the meal was exceptional and our bedroom brilliant. We just wanted to stay longer. Thanks so much MT for being the best host.
Such a lovely 2 days for 4 adults. Quiet location but off road between Perugia and Gubbio so an easy trip from airport.
Clean pool and room, homemade soaps and great food. Staff were very friendly and hope to visit again
This is a real gem, a small and authentic agriturismo where you can enjoy relaxing by the small pool or lying in a hammock under a tree. The house is a very nice farming house, with huge rooms and bizzarre yet charming furniture. Mrs. Maria Teresa, the owner, is very nice and helpful and will make you feel at home. Prices are reasonable (we spent 70 Eur a night for a double room), also lunch and dinner are very good and cheap. We would love to come back there as it really feels as a special place.
