I spent a night there as a couple. We could check in until midnight and the reception was open until 2am.
The room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom.
It's located in a residential area of Estoril, thus very calm. You're a couple of minutes from the Casino and a couple of minutes from the beach.
Nice place, I'll go there again!
We stayed at Hotel Smart in 2 rooms with 4 adults. We have all travelled extensively. We were exceptionally pleased with the comfort, cleanliness and affordability at HS. Breakfast offered many options m, a variety of coffees and teas, rolls, butter and jam, cheeses and meats, hard boiled eggs, yogurts and a cereal selection. The breakfast room was bright with large windows with gardens outside.
We could walk to the ocean and train. The management gave us a map with directions.
One warning, we rented a huge Mercedes
van that was too big to enter the garage parking. We did find street parking very near by.
Everyone was friendly and helpful.
The pool area looked delightful but we are ocean people and did not use it.
HS is in a great location. Don’t hesitate to stay there. We are picky and they exceeded our expectations.
Very modern recently renovated, comfortable hotel and well served breakfast. Well located walking distance from the beach amd Casino The only small comment is that the room floor needs a better care. Barefooted guest !!!!
We are couple traveling by car and we found this hotel convenient for our holiday. It has a free private parking and its situated in a small distance from Lisbon , Sintra and other interesting places. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, breakfast is good and the service is excellent. We were missing only a fridge in the room but the staff help us with this issue. The beach area is close, about 5 min walk and there is a shop nearby.

The room was old as in the pictures no more or less. The breakfast was poor only sandwiches was ok. No scrabbled eggs nor bacon. Overcooked eggs that were grey inside. Fruit was partly fresh partly old. Cereals were boring. No alternatives for gluten or milkprotein allergies. Juice from concentrate.
Pool was ok.
When we were to leave ending our trip early in the morning 5:40 our AirPort transfer arrived and we had informed the reception guy/hotel owner the evening before and he told he was to be up and open the door as closed during nights. Our transfer arrived in time 20min before at 5:20 and as closed entrance to the hotel he rang the door bell. What then happend is that the hotel reception guy got angry with him yelling disrespectful words as he had rang the Bell early in the morning and they two ended up fighting in the street with violance. I really do not understand the behaviour from the reception guy as the transfer guy only made his job making sure arriving to the right hotel and that his passengars were there. As locked entrance and nobody there he had to ring the Bell and it was only 20min before set time so no reason for the reception guy to be upset and arguing. It should not be a problem for a hotel with guests needing to leave early to catch a flight arguing and behaving badly towards a transfer or taxi driver.
