This is a clean and comfortable family style hotel with friendly staff and a cozy restaurant with a small patio. Be mindful of check in /out times - they’re not staffed 24 hrs. The restaurant was enjoyable and the service was excellent. The food was a good value for the cost & there was a huge wine selection. The breakfast buffet was great for a small hotel (eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, pastries). The room was clean but quite noisy with hallway disturbances. There is not temperature control in the room so if you have to open window it would be loud with street noise as it sits on a busy road. The shower was awkward (shower head in the center of the tub wall) and the shower floor was very slippery when wet. Despite these concerns it was overall a nice hotel.
No hotels in Liechtenstein have air conditioning, but it was not needed. Very comfortable room with good shower. Fun bar and excellent restaurant with good food in hotel. Staff are friendly and speak English well.
My dad and I stayed one night at Hotel Restaurant Weinstube while traveling through Lichtenstein, and a mixed experience.
Our twin room was spacious, clean and well maintained. WiFi was slow, but otherwise worked well. The hotel itself was modern with a homey feel, and featured a large terrace where you could enjoy both food and drinks from the restaurant.
As many other hotels in Lichtenstein, it is located right next to the road. Our only complaint is that our booking stated that we would get a room “(..) with balcony with views to the mountains”. We are very light sleepers, and loved the fact that we would face the back of the hotel. But upon arrival we got a room facing the front (without balcony). We asked the receptionist if they had something more quiet. It seemed to be several other vacant rooms. We were told that the road would quiet down at around 7pm. It didn’t. And as there was no AC in the room we had to open the windows. The road was busy throughout the night...
Breakfast was very good, and beautifully presented. We would have truly enjoyed our stay here, had we only gotten another room.
The room was spacious in terms of size. Note that they charge per person, so the price of the room almost doubles if u have two people. Breakfast choices is fairly limited. Not much in the area. Close to nendeln station
We arrived in the country on a Christian holiday, so all staff had a day off. We had received an email on how we could retrieve the key to the hotel without any human interaction.
This method worked and we could 'check in'. Great to see how they have trust in their customers!
The room was very cozy and clean. Attention to details was surely there!
The breakfast was sufficient. Because it was a small hotel with clearly not a full guest list some things were not refilled when they ran out. The small cups with fruit however where so cute that the restocking thing didn't matter.
Staff was very friendly and capable of sufficiently speaking English. They were willing to call a bike rental company and even willing to store our unlockable bikes in their garage that evening.
Overall I had a great experience in Liechtenstein with this hotel :)
