We stayed for 4 nights on the bank holiday week with our 8 year old daughter. We had a lovely stay. Pinewood Lodge is everything the other reviews have mentioned and very handy for the fantastic blue flag beach at Branksome, less than a 10 minute walk. The area is residential and absolutely lovely. There is lots to do rain or shine and plenty of restaurants and places to eat at all budgets.
The hotel is welcoming, our room spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfasts at Pinewood are fantastic and Amanda and Craig excellent hosts. We intend to go back!

We stayed for two nights in the Kingsbere room. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, super comfy bed, variety of teas and coffee in the room. You have the use of a separate kitchen with fridge and washing machine. Milk is provided. The house is beautiful and Amanda and Craig make you feel so welcome. Breakfast is lovely and nothing is too much trouble (the strawberry jam is to die for!)
It’s in a great location, just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach and a short drive to Sandbanks. So much to do in the surrounding area.
There is a lovely pub next door where you can have a meal and the prices are really reasonable. If you are considering staying here, go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you so much for writing a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and had a welcome break from the DIY! My Auntie makes all our jam so she will be thrilled to get a mention. Hopefully you will come another time and tick off more of the local attractions. Many thanks. PS. Hope the Reading Festival was a success!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Kingsbere room. The room is lovely with a slight view of the beach through the trees, everything was very clean and the bed really comfy.
Amanda is a very welcoming lady who makes you an amazing breakfast, with fruit salad to die for!
The walk to the beach is short, about 10 mins. It’s down a quite steep hill, which could be challenging for some coming back up! But well worth it as it’s a beautiful clean sandy beach.
The area is lovely and quiet, and the pub next door has a good menu with reasonable prices. We ate there both nights and were very happy with the meals and the staff, who were very friendly.
Would not hesitate to recommend Pinewood Lodge.
Thank you Amanda

Amanda goes out of her way to make a stay at 24 Pinewood a really personal experience. The property is beautiful furnished and decorated, the dining room is particularly lovely and breakfast an elegant affair. The guest kitchen a welcome bonus with a washing machine and fridge. The location is top class, the sandy beach literally a 3 minute walk and Sandbanks a wonderful stroll down the Promenade. Westbourne's shops and cafes 20 minutes walk along leafy streets and beautiful homes.

Questions & answers about the rooms

Hi Dan, thank you for your enquiry. Yes, all our rooms are ensuite. We have availability for that weekend however we are only letting 'room only', without breakfasts as my parents are looking after the B and B for me. There are several places locally serving breakfast. The cost is £160 per room for the 2 nights. Do get back to me if you have anymore queries or would like to book. Many thanks, Amanda
