This small hotel occupies the 5th and 6th floor of an apartment block just one minutes walk from the station. It’s on the left hand side of the Via Guido Monaco as you leave the station. Avis is on the corner and it’s a few doors up, before the supermarket. This detail is given as we walked past it as there is no big hotel sign. We rang the bell and Elena welcomed us in. At reception she told and showed us the facilities, the small dining room , where you choose you buffet breakfast and the terrace where you could eat it. Great view. There is a fridge, so you can buy food and drink and keep it fresh. Our air conditioned room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There are no frills but this is a great venue for a few nights stay to explore this really ancient and quite lovely Italian city. Elena was a perfect host and recommended things to do and a great local restaurant to eat at. Many thanks.
I loved this place, I loved this city and I especially loved the view of the city from the roof of this place!
Initially entering the building I was a bit worried as it does not have the most welcoming entrance, but once upstairs and after a chat with the nice lady at check in I felt better. My room was very warm with only a ceiling fan but it was still comfortable enough.
I just could not get enough of the view from the breakfast and reception area.
Only 100m from the train station and right above a supermarket it is well located. It is a steepish walk up to the most spectacular view from the park near the church (also spectacular, check out the painted ceiling). It is near some great places to eat and right near some rental car agencies. I can't wait to return with my family. A wonderful place to stay, in a wonderful place to be.
This is a suite of apartments in a modern office building. Close to the train station, right next to a grocery store. Not particularly close to the historical and artistic sights of Arezzo, but everything is in walking distance for a good walker.
My room was simple but complete, neat and clean. They serve a simple but OK complementary breakfast.
The rooms all face a smaller sidestreet, so street noise is minimal, but sound from other rooms and the breakfast room carries, so a lot depends on who the other guests are.
Thank you NIcoletta and Gianluca for making our short stay nearly perfect. A long ride from Zurich to Arezzo ended with a big room, comfortable bed, and lovely breakfast on the terrace on a beautiful morning. The best is that the Camera Cafe is only a block or so from the train station - we were able to drop our bags and head to dinner quickly. The restaurant recommended by
Gianluca was so good, we ate there for lunch the next day, too. A great deal and terrific experience.
This B&B is really wonderful! I am staying here with a large group of young opera singers. You could imagine might be difficult for any hotel's staff but Gianluca, Marcello, and the Camera Caffe girls are so hospitable. Every morning there is a delicious breakfast served on the terrace which overlooks all of Arezzo. It is such a lovely way to start the day! They clean the room extremely thoroughly without fail. Camera Caffe is perfectly located in the center of the city. We are right near everything! The other students staying in different hotels are jealous of our proximity to everything. Gianluca is extremely accommodating and goes out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Meow!
