We have arrived home today after spending an absolutely lovely week in Madonna di Campiglio. We were not disappointed with our choice of hotel and so pleased that we booked this hotel. From the moment we arrived they made us feel very welcome and upgraded our room for free to room 209. Our room was so lovely and spacious with a balcony which looked out upon the mountains. Our room was spotless and cleaned everyday and when we got home of an evening we found our bed had been turned down which was a very nice touch. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers and places to put your ski gear. Our showers were always very hot, with plenty of towels and hairdryer. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, always nice and we ate well before hitting the slopes. The bar and sitting area was cosy, and welcoming and we enjoyed many a drink. The ski room was spacious with boot warmers... always good, and plenty of room to stack your skies. In terms of the hotel position, we couldn’t have asked for more in terms of shops and restaurants and bars being so close. In terms of getting up the mountain, the nearest gondola the ‘5 Lunghi Express’ was a 5/7 minute walk, the Spinale Express Gonola a good 10 minutes maybe more walking in ski boots! I didn’t find this to hard work. I think it was piste number 55 that took you down close to the hotel at the end of the day. We popped down to the spa/pool one afternoon, it was really nice but we weren’t there for that, but again clean and well maintained. I really have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We found the members of staff so very lovely, helpful, hardworking and genuinely nice. I would not hesitate to go back to this resort, and most definitely this hotel. When we left this morning at 6.30 am they had prepared a breakfast for us to take for our journey down the mountain which was a great touch.
The hotel is perfectly located to walk through the center of Madonna di Campiglio or to go skiing. The rooms are small but warm. The SPA and pool is very nice. The half-board solution, ideal if you spend time on the ski slopes, is a bit pretentious as in they try to offer international or non local cuisine, where they often fail to deliver vis-a-vis quality. The bar and the aperitivo is below average.
We had 6 night stay in this really centrally located hotel and enjoyed not only perfect set up close to ski lifts, but also convenient reach to all other places in Madonna.
Junior Suite for a family of 4 (two adults + 2 kinds) was plenty enough of space and comfort. Room was nice, clean, comfortable, always timely served twice a day - in the morning and before night.
We had prepurchased diners and that was also very good solution with small kids. Dinners food were all the time different, menu was nice and dishes tasty. Each evening was a little surprise pre dinner event - sweets or sour snacks, happy hour drinks or other surprises.
Personnel at reception, bar, restaurant and room service were very friendly and helpful, by the end of the stay our kids become friends with all nice restaurant ladies.
Kids enjoyed SPA / pool area as well as kid play corner with some toys and games.
overall we enjoyed the stay and will consider the same hotel for our next visit again.
I've stayed at this hotel two years now, each for handful of days for skiing and enjoying the city, and every time I have been blown away by the excellent service and atmosphere.
I'm from the US (Chicago) and I've never found a place which serves this quality of food for the price. Breakfast consists of freshly baked pastries, sliced meats, cheeses, natural honey, among other things. At an American hotel, all of these things would be packaged, industrial snacks with preservatives and high fructose corn syrup. The dinner at this hotel is four to five courses (depending on if you partake in the buffet) -- all with amazing food at just the right portions. I ate very well during my stay!
The accommodations are also splendid. There is a wonderfully relaxing spa in the basement with everything from a sauna, to a steam room, a cold room, as well as a rock massage path, beds, and a nice pool. You can also get massages for an extra cost.
The rooms are very nice. It is decorated in a beautiful artisan style with handmade wood carvings. The bed is large and comfortable and the view is fantastic!
I almost don't want to leave a review as I don't want others to spoil my future stays, but this family owned hotel definitely deserves the business!
I stayed in hotel Grazia in the beginning of february for a week. Book this hotel due to a good central location and reclassification after renovation to a 4 star hotel. So a can say this was a test drive.
Location - one of the best from 6 hotels in Madonna a have stayed before.
Parking - free of charge in underground parking 3 Tre in a few steps from the hotel.
Service - sometimes perfect, sometimes not. Depends on person on the reception.
Breakfast - is ok for me, but someone will miss fried, scrambled eggs - only boiled.
Dinner - lots of local dishes, so its hard to choose from if u dont like them.
Rooms - we booked a romantic room with bowindow so the view was perfect.
Room spacious and light, but no WIFI, no Minibar, no slippers, no glasses of cups, no usual amenities like a shampoo or a doushe gel (there was something in small bags like testers not enough for 1 person) so u need to buy this by yourself in shop nearby.
Climat contol in room was out of order.
Cannot say a word about bar and swimming pool with sauna - didnot used those services.
So can say that it is a regular 3 star hotel, but they need to do so much thigs to try to get 4 stars.
