Nice size rooms in a quiet location - in fact our room was especially large. Breakfast and dinner were well above average. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Personally I enjoyed the fact that you had to walk 10 minutes (downhill) to get to the promenade/centre as it enabled you to see the picturesque nature of the town, but for those with a walking disability the location of the hotel might prove problematic. The town itself has many restaurants, some of which are right on the promenade. The ferries run regularly, enabling you to visit most locations on Lake Constance. Overall we were impressed by this hotel.
Stayed here one night. Although the room was a bit small it was presented very nicely and well furnished. The bathroom, small again, looked to be recently refurbished and was very nice. We found the staff to be very pleasant and the parking is just 150 ft from the hotel and very convenient. The hotel is on the edge of the old town and a very easy walk to everywhere but still easy to get a parking spot.
Unfortunately it was warm the evening we were there and since there is no air conditioning we did not have the best nights sleep since we had to have the windows wide open and were keep up late with street traffic, from a nearby major road, in the evening.
We would return here for another stay but most likely not in the summer.
I was in the area for business and my travel agency booked me this hotel.. Usually they find a chain hotel so the 3 Stuben came as a pleasant surprise. My room was small but OK for 2 nights. Bed was comfortable, shower was good and it was quiet. Breakfast was made available early for me at 7.00. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The little bar downstairs was cozy. Location in the upper part of town was perfect and only 2 minutes to the bus stop to work! It was like a little holiday but I won't tell my boss.
After some research we booked 1 night stay as a stop over on our trip from France to Germany .
I called the hotel a couple of days prior to arrival and booked one of their 2 parking spaces at 7 euros per day with a helpful receptionist who spoke fluent English.
Very quick and efficient check in , rooms are all individually furnished and we were allocated to a room with London decor
(Big ben curtains and chair covers ) to remind us of our home town. Location of the hotel is very central , Bodensee , restaurants and castle all within easy walking distance . Breakfast had a good selection of cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit , pastries, cereals , yoghurts as well as scrambled eggs and bacon . We did not use the hotel restaurant as the town has a large number of good restaurants, however we did have a couple of drinks in the cosy cellar bar of the hotel , which was reasonably priced and had a lovely relaxed ambience . I can highly recommend 3 Stuben for somebody who prefers a small hotel with character rather than a large chain hotel - in fact we enjoyed the hotel and town so much that we extended our stay for another night .
A nice, clean and welcoming hotel situated right on the exit from the small and cosy city of Meersburg. Breakfasts are good. The room is immaculately clean and nicely furnished.
Highly recommended property.
