We recently stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a friends wedding a couple of miles away. We were made to feel very welcome and the host (and dog!) were lovely. We had a family suite on the top floor which was spacious and inkeeping with the feel of the property. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choose from and a particularly yummy yoghurt cake which we all enjoyed. We managed to spend a little time exploring a local village, Lagrasse, which was beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area for the night.

We enjoyed two lovely nights in Sylvie and Chrisophe's town house in a small village. Our room was huge and well appointed with a spacious bathroom as well. We were welcomed by Sylvie and their yellow labrador Opium who is an excellent ambassador! Both mornings we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace under the giant fig tree. Easy outings include Carcassone and Minerve as well as Homps for lunch alongside the Canal di Midi. The highlight of our stay was the short walk to the Clos de Venes winery and personal tour by Christophe-so much better and more personal than many big winery visits we have made in the past. We highly recommend Le Clos de Venes if you are visiting in the Languedoc region.

Very nice house with a quiet spirit in the country side. The bedroom are very large, like an apartment with a nice decoration. We have loved the winter garden to take the breakfast. You have shower of light from the roof to illuminate your morning. The house is closed to the river 'le canal du midi'

This is a beautiful guesthouse. Our room was beautiful, very nicely decorated and large. The breakfast was lovely with homemade cake and jams. We had a nice evening walk around the village and surroundings. Sylvie was very helpful when we had questions about where to drive for dinner etc.

The only negative was the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable and was a thin mattress/mat on a bed base, so we didn't sleep well. Might be something to consider upgrading in the future.

Spent one night there. I really enjoyed the room, spacious and clean, with a beginning of XXth century style. Good traditional french breakfast on a terrace. The owners are friendly and they pay attention on every detail. A lot of places around to visit (the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, Alaric moutain...) and a lot of wines to taste (Minervois and Corbières). I recommend it !
