We stayed for three nights on a powered drive thru site our site was between two cabins but we had no problem with that the sites are nice and wide you might need ramps our site wasn't level again wasn't a big deal. The amenities were clean and the park well kept. The view is amazing there are steps down to rocky beach also a cliff top walk. Take all your food with you there is a pub and coffee shop across the rd (bass hwy) no TV reception except for all the channel 9 stations in the rec room would recommend a visit to this lovely park
Partner and I recently stayed midweek in a studio cabin at the Kilcunda Oceanview Holiday Retreat.
Our accommodation was small in size with bedroom and cooking facilities in one room, toilet and shower separate.
Bed is only a double bed.
Over the road is the local hotel and next door the cafe/store/post office, and that is all.
The Retreat overlooks a rocky reef when exposed at low tide.
Short walk further away for swimming.
Apart from the small double bed, cabin was very clean, good pressure shower and all facilities you would expect.
One small gripe.
We stayed in #10 with a sliding flywire screen door.
Due to sea spray in the air over time, the latch on the flywire door could not close properly.
Looking closely at the catch, the issue is long overdue in being rectified.
This gave us grief over the three nights we stayed due to flies entering the unit.
Small point, otherwise an enjoyable stay.
A lovely place to stay - perched on the cliff top above the Bass Strait. Fantastic views. We stayed in a 2 bedroom , well appointed, comfortable & absolutely spotless cabin . It was perfect . Short walk to local pub specializing in fresh fish for dinner. General Store is friendly & folksy & serves a top breakfast.
We stayed at the "Cottage" which is a three bedroom, 2 bathroom (1 been ensuite) unit. Large fully equipped kitchen and large lounge with large windows offering amazing views of the ocean.
Very clean and well presented, the approach of the managers was very warm and welcoming.
The park was well maintained, beach access right in site.
We stayed in an Ocean Front luxury villa. It was is excellent condition, well equipped and comfortable. Could sleep 6, with two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with 4 bunk style beds. With only the two of us, there was ample room, I am guessing with 6 people, it will be more crowded.
The walk down the cliff to the beaches below is steep but well laid and safe to walk down and up. There are a couple of local pubs and a local shop for essentials.
Great area to drive around, Inverloch, Wonthaggi and inland from Kilcunda and Wonthaggi had some great country views.
