First time stay in a Swiss home. Will give top rating if it can be located correctly in the google map.
Only two suites available. Modern bathroom. Very nice breakfast.
Need a car to get around and go out for dinner.
The house, the room, the lunch… all is well and of good taste.
This BB "worths" the voyage and the reception is charming. Maybe a little bit too expensive for the season. We will comme back as soon as possible.
We were warmly received in English by La Villa's proud owner and led to one of the two suites. Ours, with a large bedroom, light modern bathroom, separate shower room and drawing room surprises with its beautifully decorated ceilings which, together with the period furnishings add space, grace and a certain opulence to the already very spacious and comfortable period accommodation. The drawing room would only be of real use in the daytime, but it would be easy to spend all day there, reading, writing or a similar activity. We came to enjoy a short weekend. We would like to return to enjoy a long weekend and discover more of the beautiful area (a listed UNESCO World Heritage property, one of the world's most important fossil repositories). For people who enjoy this kind of setting and personal service, La Villa and its mature garden, its host and hostess (and their very floppy basset hound) offer their guests a most welcome moment to slow down, feel at ease and on top of the world.
