Stayed 4 nights in the riad, which is a hidden gem in the middle of a busy Médina market. This riad is honestly outstanding and can not rate the staff highly enough. The rooms are quaint, cosy and chique. The riad is exceptionally and exquisitely decorated. Breakfast is served on the rooftop every morning and it isn’t a normal buffet breakfast you find in a standard European hotel but served personally to your table with new additions every morning - the 4 mornings we had breakfast we were served from varieties of fruit, home made yogurt, cakes, Moroccan bread/honey etc - we even had breakfast at 6.30am prior to an early morning flight - this was much appreciated.
I recommend get the airport transfer as the riad, on first visit, is hard to find through hidden alleyways - note: the driver waits outside terminal and not inside.
We arrived around 11am and Pierre had our room ready - thank you very much. He even took time out to sit with us with a map and explain what life is like in Marrakesh. The service and staff is exceptional - never been treated as good in any hotel. Breakfast staff are brilliant and so attentive and even more so - Hamza! Hamza works night shifts and yet always greets you with a smile on your return to the riad and he is very helpful, kind and speaks excellent English. He made our stay, thank you Hamza it was a pleasure meeting you! I can’t highly recommend this riad enough, it’s clean, modern but yet traditional touch, amazing staff, lovely owner and excellent food. The location is also perfect as it’s close to main attractions but yet quiet to stay and relax in. We had a problem at the end of our stay with payment issues however Pierre came to see us late at night to resolve this issue and excellent customer service - we really appreciate this as you would never get that elsewhere. Thank you so much to all staff and if deciding on visiting Marrakesh I 100% recommend this riad. The staff and beautiful rooms made our stay and I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Pierre, Hamza and all staff!

Overall a great place to stay. Staff were really good. Went above and beyond with their service.

Room itself was really nice and tastefully decorated.

The Riad provided a perfect sanctuary to relax in after a day of sightseeing.

I would definitely recommend having the dinner. It was really good food. Best I had in Marrakech.

Could not really fault the place. Birds in cages aren’t that cool, but that is just a preference.

Location: Riad la Parentheses is located within an easy walk of the market square and other attractions in the medina. It's a good idea to get the airport pickup, as the riad could be difficult to find at first (the small alleys do not map well).

Rooms: The riad has 6 rooms, 2 of which are located on the ground floor next to the common area, so make sure you request a room on the upper floor. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but would benefit from in-room coffee and tea facilities.

Service: Pierre and Hamza were excellent, and really earned the 5 stars. They were genuinely friendly, and went out of their way to help us. They even went to the train station to get tickets for us, and made us breakfast at 06:30, so we could catch the early train. I'm not sure if it's offered, but a laundry service would also be helpful.

Food: The included breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Make sure you order the 3-course dinner at least once (20€ each) - it was better than most restaurants in the area.

Activity: We did the 3-valley day trip offered at the riad (50€ each). Overall this was good; the Berber lunch was the highlight. Be wary of the argan demonstration though, as this is mainly focused on getting you to buy overpriced argan products (a bar of soap was 12€).

Overall: excellent.
