This is an awesome place to stay. The people that work here are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this!! Its very clean and friendly and helpful!! My room was clean and made up every day! Love it!
We have been staying here for several years a few times a year. We have always loved this hotel. Now things have changed. I understand they sold. All of the friendly staff that we have come to know are gone. My husband went down to the desk and there was a man that did not speak English well. They changed my sister's family reservation to a smaller room as the large room is now occupied by the owners. We found the towels not as bright as they use to be. They have yellowish stains on them. The rooms were not as clean and somewhat dusty. We are quite saddened this has changed.
Great stay and really appreciate the staff. Brittany was the person I talked to on the phone to book the reservation, she was very friendly and helpful. They were sold out of accessible rooms but she listened carefully to what we needed and reserved a room that best fit our needs. We arrived late evening and the gentleman working the desk was also very friendly and attentive. He saw my mom at the door and quickly came around the front desk to hold the door open for her since she had a walker. He said they tried to call us because they had an accessible room become available. Really appreciate the communication and attentiveness of the staff. The room was excellent, very clean and bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Quick registration - quiet room with plenty of hot water - breakfast was ok, but the lady loading up the breakfast bar at 6am was STRESSED - wasn't a problem but a little funny as none of us waiting were pushing her for food
After reading “cautionary reviews” on TA about hotels along the I- 80 corridor; we decided to drive several miles off the interstate to Boulders Inn in Atlantic, Iowa. We found it comfortable though thought it rather expensive for area. It was $112.00 with AARP discount August 30th. Breakfast was just okay and no pool on site. Their exercise room very small - Looked like 2 riding machines in the laundry room. We were on 1st floor so didn’t have to worry about lack of elevator. The room was clean and had a small frig and microwave.
I believe they do not have pet friendly rooms which we appreciate since my husband has severe allergies. All in all, we recommend but just realize the value and expense of staying there.
