Villa Song Saigon has a French colonial design and the natural surrounds. This riverside boutique hotel is a beautiful mixture of whimsy and romance with complete relaxation: nice room, spa, gym, pool and restaurant.
I enjoy this place with the stunning view of the Saigon River and the delicious cuisine at the restaurant. Some highly tips and recommend:
+ The salt water swimming pool: Have a refreshing swim with the tropical garden view surrounded by a palette of lush green and experience all the health benefits .
+ The Spa: Many services and packages for Body Scrub, Sport / Aroma Therapy, Manicure and Pedicure,...
+ Free Hotel Shuttle Boat Service to the Center of Ho Chi Minh City. It will take you 10 – 15 minutes with 6 return trips a day.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay. We had upper level room close to swimming pool and gym. Very nice clean room, bed and duvet were really comfortable. The staff were very helpful and kind. The restaurant by the river is a plus. Breakfast was great and something not to be missed there. If you are looking for a beautiful villa that located right by the river, we recommend this Villa Song. We will definitely come back and stay again. We had a memorable stay.
A very French colonial style hotel lies next to Saigon river, Villa Song offers rooms with great view over the river. Room is spacious and beautiful with great facilities like Spa, Gym and a Swimming Pool at the central garden of the hotel. Apart from that, Villa Song also has an awesome restaurant that offers both in-door and out-door seating (garden), so you can really enjoy your dinner with an excellent view to the Saigon river. What a romantic scene. Overall, it was a great stay and I will definitely be back to Villa Song whenever I have a chance to go back to VN. Highly recommend to everyone.
Last but not least, feedback for Mr Arif Gunawan, GM of Villa Song: please think about how to leverage on your great restaurant and garden to make it like the Deck or even better (cause your foods are far better than the Deck), only one small thing to improve, please think about adding more international newspapers like the New York Times/ the Economist/ Time magazine/ The Financial Times because the guests at the Villa Song are almost expats/foreigners, we cannot read local papers and I found that you guys there had lots of local papers and old magazines.. that's why I went to the Deck twice when I was there as it offered lots of good Intl newspapers to read.
Stayed here for 3 nights during my visit in HCMC, and I really enjoyed this boutique hotel. It has very spacious room with classical styles, cosy & warm atmosphere. Bathroom is also quite big with both shower & bathtub. In order to keep fit, I used the hotel's gym room everyday, although its small but has decent facility to keep you healthy. Or you can enjoy the big and lovely swimming pool surrounded by the garden of the hotel, really enjoyed reading & sunbathing there. Regarding the foods, I must say that their foods are top quality and delicious. And I am sure you will enjoy the view as they have a great Bistro next to the river so that you can really enjoy your meal while experience the view as well.
The only thing that I suggest that hotel should consider. I found that the hotel offers many newspapers and magazines but most of them are local ones, would be great to have the international ones like: the New York Times, Financial Times, the Economist, Time magazine, etc . as other restaurants/hotels in Ho Chi Minh like the Deck, Sofitel are offering for their guest. Apart from this newspapers & magazines, everything is perfect and I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
We stayed 3 nights in a large Sanctuary Room on the top floor of this Villa, only reached by stairs.
A good size room overlooking the restaurant and river. We had a very comfortable King bed, plenty of seating as well as a work station and chair. Had air con. plus ceiling fan, plenty of cupboard hanging space, safe for valuables, free bar fridge ( replaced each day ), coffee machine and coffee/tea making facilities. The shower to the side of the bath tub works surprisingly well and they had a quality hair shampoo.
They had a pool & spa ( looked lovely but did not use ), a small gym ( minimal equipment ).We had breakfast at outside area of restaurant beside the river, a great setting, and they had plenty of choices on the a la carte menu, with coffee to order.
There is a free boat shuttle service to take you across and down the river to District 1 although would suggest more flexibility with times.
They have a 'fine dining' restaurant - excellent food , but as they have a 'captured audience' , that being people staying, they might want to review their offerings and pricing.
