I have stayed at many hotels during our travels, but there is only one really bad experience that stands out in my mind. I stayed at Qafqaz hotel last year in July 2017 and it was better than this time. I think they recently changed some stuff. I was very disappointed this time when I visit Qafqaz on June 2018 but with this lodging establishment. I thought that since a lot of people use this hotel, it would be a decent hotel. Boy, I was wrong. I suppose the reason why the the people stay there is that it is the location of the hotel. The room was not my expectation small and had a very bad odor, probably because the air filter needed to be changed. We notified the front desk of this problem, but it was 9:00 PM until someone came to check it out. The person who came up to our room was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. He tried to say that the smell was coming from outside and that nothing was wrong with the air conditioner, which was NOT true! I again called the front desk and they said we could move to another room down the hall. They did not even offer to help us move our stuff, which kind of annoyed me. I was all tired and ready for bed, I chose to try another room instead packing everything up and moving to another hotel in Page. This room was a little better but smelled very musty. I got showers, got in bed, and left first thing the next morning. At checkout, the staff, unlike at most hotels, refused to refund any of our money since My stay was unsatisfactory. I argued with them for about 30 minutes until they hesitantly decided to take one day off my bill. Boy, I were glad to leave this "sorry" place! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, not even my worst enemies! , plus when I had a guest or anyone want to come to my room, when I meet my guest they start complain about reception ask them wired questions (personal), how you know this person ? And what you want? Like a police -Hopefully we will never ever have a bad experience like I did at Baku.
