I was in Amman for 3 days vacation , part of a FAM trip and the chosen hotel was Harir Palace. First impression was very nice , since the lobby area was very nice and quite big. We were checked in very fast. The room was nice with pool view. Very clean and quite big . The breakfast - dinner area is quite big and the breakfast is good with enough options ( could have more though ) . The main problem with the hotel is that is not centrally located. If someone wants to visit central Amman , he must take taxi , cause is 20 minutes drive from hotel.
Overall is a good hotel , but the fact that it is outside central Amman , may be a disadvatage
It was our last hotel in the last leg of our Holy Land pilgrimage. We arrived to a rousing welcome from the hotel staff, dancing a local dance in complete costume and inviting us guests to join in the revelry. What a happy way to start our night in Jordan.
Staff was friendly and the lobby was already decorated for Christmas. Although the restaurant wasn’t spacious, Breakfast buffet was good with a wide choice of both continental and local cuisine. Dinner was likewise sumptuous but we were asked to pay for our drinking water.
Our room was comfortable and had the usual amenities and we had a view of the pool downstairs.
Concierge didn’t speak much English but directed us to staff who could
This hotel is chic and fabulous. The rooms were quite small though and the lighting was quite limited. Our double bed was cramped in a tiny area. But what compensated the small room is the delicious breakfast spread with international choices. Service is good and people are pleasant. The noise coking from the pool because of a party or something just bothered us a little bit and gave us quite a hard time to catch our sleep.
It is a nice property in a quiet area of Amman, well furnished and nicely decorated, looking very attractive and having mostly favourable reviews on BOONING.COM, mostly unfavourable on TRIPADVISOR....
Hotel advertising airport transfer, not answering e-mail requesting service....
Nice welcome and efficient check-in (no welcome drink as advertised.
Room quite small but well furnished and good facilities, badlu serviced - missing bathrobe and slippers, insufficient toilet paper, most importantly, bedshetts not changed at all in four days
Bbrekfast is average towards good but service at brekfast is poor - mani people around doing nothins, floors dirty and tables not set properly (photoes available).
Swimming pool is very cold, almost unusable, pool area still well attended, including food and beverage.
Friendly looking staff, polite but poorly trained (including languages and tourist advice), becoming arrogant when complaints are put forward to them, including arrogant and unhelpful Frnt Desk Manager....
Hotel charged half day rate for late check-out (18.00 hrs) but without cleaning the room or aven checking for missing toilet paper!
A very nice souvenir shop and a very good, competent and efficient Travel Agency inside the hotel. Many thanks to Mr. Jamal and Mr. Hani from travel agency for making our stay wothwhile.
General imprassion: a good property, very poorly managed.
Highly recommend.to would-be travellers to seek for other good hotels in Amman
