Sadly. There were too many things that outweighed the quality of other things. We were both very disappointed with what should be good quality. But in fact was very poor, service and value for money. 1902 menu was poor. No menus in the rooms, they were using QR codes which was great, but waited 1 hour for a code to arrive for a menu. Phones not working in a signature suite so had to phone using a mobile. Door handles falling off the door to balcony, many of the shutters couldn’t be opened. Satellite stations all bad connections. Bar cocktail charges were fine, BUT, then found out they were using local spirits as didn’t want to pay charges I was told by the management. That is a rip off when behind the bar you only see the imported spirits. Service fit breakfast and lunch was incredibly slow for an empty hotel. Sat waiting for 20 minutes etc lobby, bar, grounds etc all superb. But that’s it.
