Like another guest, I used their online booking as it seemed cheaper than an online travel agency. However, after they confirmed it, they raised the price 60 yuan a night. As I also ordered breakfast (since their original price was cheaper), this meant I was paying an extra 100 a night, than I originally intended. However, they hardly apologized for their out of date website and when I asked what the deposit would be, was flatly told by whoever answered the email, that they had no idea and to ask the front desk itself. Check in was also done by a person with a very sour expression and limited English, although one staff member had slightly better English and could answer questions.
The facilities of the hotel are good, as they seem to have been built to international standards, but can a 5 star hotel really have no satellite TV or any channels in English? As I booked a business room, I would have liked a few extras like they sometimes put in the desk drawers (scissors / pencil) and I really needed a sewing kit, which could not be found. Also, the light above the tea / coffee area seemed to need a new globe.
As for breakfast, the Chinese food on the first day tasted more like flavourless hospital food, so the next day I tried to eat the Western food (cakes and bread) which were hard and probably pre-frozen. Food quality was hit and miss. I may stay again if travelling to Nanjing in future.

It's very price worthy! Nice view of Xuanwu Lake and the city in rooms; location is good.
The room is very good and modern, comparing with Westin, but the price is only half.
Good choice if you travel in the city or have business here. Service is also good

My company had booked the room on behalf of me and I got the confirmation one day before I arrive.
When I am checking in, the front desk was showed me my room price which is included the breakfast.
Some how they changing the room rate with out info me.
I had accepted the rate. Somehow there is another issue on the billing...
Gave me twice empty promised! Terrible! I had made a complaint to Ramada HQ. Waiting for feedback.

I pleasantly checked out Yihua hotel this morning and write my impression here. When the company reserved this hotel, I read the post reviews in Trip Advisor where negative reflections were posted in the latest reviews, which worried me. When I arrived at the hotel lately the day before yesterday, my reservation was not correctly booked, which originated from my company mistake. In a 20min, the hotel staff quick communicated with my company staff for my corporate-packaged reservation. After it, when I entered the room, I notified my worry just was a prejudice. The room was very clean and organized with high standards with satisfaction. I went to the swimming pool in that night, Wow the pool is clean, comfortable temperature and right deep and the facility with locker, showroom, hot spring were well maintained. I didn't utilize the gym facility but I saw its good condition through the glass window. The breakfast also contained various and high quality of foods, especially I enjoyed the fresh natural juice, porridge and mango jam with bread. The cook and kitchen manager were standby and continue checked the foods, staff service and people response which is a good point.
I'd like to appreciate the service of swimming pool staffs, breakfast staffs, and for sure smile of front desks who care for guest comfort and time.
So if the past reviews written are assumed correct, then now this hotel has transformed into the right quality of service and high standard facility, I estimate. Even I stayed several hotels in Nanjing, this hotel was a best for me. I will come back to this hotel for my next visit. By the way, the location locates at the downtown, so likely good also for tourists.

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is pretty standard business hotel.

The room is ok size but the facilities are indeed a bit old. The amenities are basic also. The sound proof is not very good, sometimes can hear people talking in the corridor. If you are not picky, this hotel is acceptable.

The breakfast spread is not too bad, quite value for money for the price.
