Stayed at this hotel many times just for a short getaway. I will not review the room hotel since nothing special about it but why im fall in love with Borobudur is this hotel offers so many activities such as :
An olympic size pool
A great jogging track
Spacious green yard
Great health facilities : Sauna, Steam, Jacuzzi and fitness center
Butter fly park
Kids play ground
Your fams and kids definitely will love and enjoy this hotel.!
The cons is only the room itself since this is an old hotel. But everything was ok and clean!
I stay in junior suite 701 with lounge access 2 night.
this is my 2nd time staycation here.
Super bad welcome from old security lady. We enter from entrance near parking lot.. i think they wait a ministry something. we bring big suitcase and stroller. When we want to enter the door, she stop us because ministry will enter soon. Finally that person not coming so we can enter. None help to lift my suitcase into scanner. Maybe they only focus the ministry.
My room:clean and big.. we love it. Score 9. Only internet wifi very poor in our room and we got roof view TT
Pool and gym: always excellent. Score 9.5. We love it.
18th floor Lounge: can be better.. the crew not so welcome compare to westin/ others. Snack score is 6. Next time i will not take room with lounge access. Not so worthed.
I think they best of this hotel is the housekeeping.
Just stayed over a weekend with my wife and 2 daughters...the best thing about this hotel are:
1. For kids of 13 and 9 years old, they like this hotel for big swimming pool, playgrounds and large garden to walk around.
2. Oxtail Soup at one of the restaurants is the my family favorite. The best in town, I can say.You should try it!
3. Breakfast buffet has many selection of mouthwatering and tasty foods. They are all good and my family love it.
4. The complete fitness equipment, sauna, and jacuzzi facility with complete amenities are incredible.
5. With The availability of Garuda Sales Office at this hotel for our flight arrangements, we feel “all under one roof” services. This is totally a plus point amongst all 5 star hotels in Jakarta.
The only drawback is its outdated interior of the hotel room which need immediate refurbishment.
Where do i start...? I stayed there one night with my mum as we had to make a 24 hour stop over in Jakarta from Bali. the agency booked us in for this 5 star hotel which we through was great until we got there... when you walk in you are amazed but don't be fooled. There's nothing around the hotel, to buy water or anything. The rooms are disgusting, we went to ibis before and it was cleaner! i have left some photos, found a lime ( no idea how it go there since we din't order anything). The bath mat had mold on it and the dust was not done. I had a stain on my bed sheets. The carpets are cleaned regularly. The staff there doe not speak English properly and I could not understand them. I am a picky person and i do understand that you get overwhelmed sometimes but for the price it is ridiculous. The pools was nice, unfortunatly we could not enjoy it because of the weather. very disappointing. i will not go back there again and i suggest you don't either.
This hotel remains my favorite whenever I come to Jakarta. This time I came in very late at night. The room they had reserved for me was not perfect, but the next morning they fixed everything and up-graded me as well to compensate for the prior night limitations (which really very minor). I enjoy the outside garden area with the Olympic-sized pool and the 700m running track. In addition, right next to the hotel is a park that locals use for running. When I am in Indonesia, I prefer to experience some Indonesian culture and atmosphere and this hotel delivers on this account 100%. Cheers! Andreas
