We recently stayed for two nights whilst waiting for our flight home to Australia.
Upon arrival in Santiago we were met by a lovely lady near exit door 5 of the airport and then escorted across to the pickup zone where we were then transported to the hotel, a short five minute drive from the actual airport. This is a free service. We utilised this service on our return to the airport two days later. This must be booked as there is limited seats.
We each stayed in a King bed suite on the 4th floor. These rooms are fantastic! Modern and spacious.
The beds were extremely comfortable with quality linen.
The suites have a coffee maker with a couple of complimentary coffee pods.
The bathroom is large enough to host a party in!
We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights. A fairly limited menu but we managed to find something we felt like eating.
Buffet Breakfast is USD15.00 per person.
The young staff members in the restaurant were helpful and accommodated my dietary requirements without any issue.
There was only one person working on reception and there were times that there were 10 or more people queued up. Our hotel room keys were deactivated one day early and two of us were locked out of our rooms in our pyjamas (we had been for coffee in a friends room next door). I called reception from my friends suite to ask if someone could come up and let us in. No one ever came and we now know it was due to the queue at the front desk! Fortunately housekeeping appeared and we were able to return to our rooms.
I don't understand a hotel that has signs in the bathrooms advising guests to hang their towels up if they intend to use them again (which we did) but then promptly replaces them. What was even crazier was that the soap on the vanity was also discarded after our first night and replaced with a new bar!
Overall I really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I should ever transit Santiago in the future.

There was no hit water available for showers and I was not advised of this when I checked in. The staff were not helpful and no discount on the room was available. The airport shuttle was good.

Hotel is near the airport and rooms are good size and clean with comfortable beds.
However the front desk staff struggle with English language - (and this is next to the international airport). The housekeeping and front desk both claim that they do not know what and iron and ironing board is.
Also front desk didn’t know if they could extend my booking for one extra day and I suggested that I could use Booking.com or Expedia which had a room available at the hotel. Front desk said yes ok book with Expedia - so I had to go through the internet booking just to add an extra day.
Also, coffee machine at front sitting area in lobby has no coffee pods, 2 computers didn’t work & the lights in foyer sitting area are turned off.

This hotel could get much better ratings of only they had trained staff- who spoke English a bit better - and who cared about the customer.

Your feedback is very important to us, and I am saddened and surprised with your comment since all our staff is bilingual, your extension of one night you made it directly with the hotel, not with expedia, booth business computers have always been operational 24 hours, when they are not used for a long time the screens do not present image but if they work, as far as the staff does not know about the ironing board and iron, service that has always been available 24 hours when requested. We will review all the issues you mentioned and see what happened to correct We continuously strive to meet your needs and expectations. English speaking personnel, nice facilities (pool, sauna, gym), a restaurant and a bar, as well as large rooms, and suites.
You probably want to stay here for just one or two nights, as long as you don’t mind starting and landing airplanes in your room, though. ;)

We stayed here because our family of 4 could get one room instead of two (HI required two) and our arrivals and departures weren't too late or early. If we had a late arrival or early departure, we would've stayed at the Holiday Inn which is a walk across the street from the airport.

That being said, this is a really lovely property and we highly recommend it if you have the extra time to accommodate their shuttle times (see the what you didn't like for more info on this). Rooms were modern, comfortable, and clean, and very quiet! The only thing is the humidity made it a little difficult to sleep comfortably, you'd cool the room, but when you got hot under the covers & took them off you'd freeze because of the humidity. A light blanket on the beds in addition to the thick comforter would help alleviate this as well.

The restaurant was delicious & varied enough for a one night stay, breakfast had a large variety of fresh fruits and juices, yogurt, cereal, hot eggs and breakfast meat and potatoes, assorted pastries. The pizza in the restaurant was very yummy and large enough for two. Service at the restaurant was excellent!

Front desk, we didn't have any issues with check in or checkout, but only because we were the only ones there. Although, at check-in there were two staff helping two people before us and it did take a while..but only because one of the people had just arrived and the other person was being incredibly difficult and persistent...which they handled with grace.

Only drawback: The shuttle for pickup & delivery only runs once an hour rather than continuously. It picks up at the airport at the 15 after and leaves the hotel to drop off at the top of the hour. It's only a 10 minute trip to the airport, so more frequent shuttles would be a plus!
