From early arrival in the afternoon , from the reception desk , the guest receive several warning concerning all what you don't have to do , like a prisoner in Guantanamo! At the end of the stay , the only conclusion is , escape as for any prisoner dream!! Room for dwarfs , common bathrooms unusable due to number of guests, breakfast: a terrible remember! Don't lost my time to write more but Mandatory to avoid this place!!

We stayed here 2 nights but were quick to leave. Upon check in we were told we can stay 1 night in a room but had to move the next day due to a group arriving. This was inconvenient as we were moved in the morning at 11am even though we were reassured we had until midday. Cleaning staff were rude and pushy.

Bathrooms were a disaster - we were constantly queuing to gain access for the toilet or shower.

Kitchen was small, cramped and baldy equipped. All cupboards were locked so the whole room felt uninviting or unusable.
Breakfast was the weirdest thing! Rude breakfast staff served you in the mornings. Breakfast consisted of crackers, cheese, over cooked eggs and cold pancakes. Not at all something to look forward too.

Not enough space in the mornings to sit at a table. Instead we had to balance our breakfast on our knees on the sofa out the back.

We also noticed that a girl in our dorm had checked out. We then spotted the cleaning staff simply uncreasing the bedding rather than changing for fresh linen. Also the bins in the dorm (one recycle and one normal) were just tipped into one bag - defeats the point of having separated rubbish!

Dorms and common areas felt cluttered and full of too many irrelevant decorations.

We then checked out and handed back the key...we went to a different hostal down the road. We then realised our passports were missing!!! These had been retained by the hostal in their safe - staff seemed unsupportive about this mega inconvenience! Thank god we weren’t off to the airport or on a long bus journey!!

Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.

We stayed one night and left straight away in the morning. Hostel was really dirty and rooms smelled badly, bathroom (1 to share with another 30 people) was quite dirty too. You are not allowed to be around the hostel after 11 pm which is ok if you just want to chill. Breakfast quite poor and no room to sit down and have it. On top of that I got a laundy service (20.000 for 3 shirts, 2 jeans) and they lost one of my jeans (good ones, surprisingly), just left Medellín without them cause every time I rang there was a different excuse to not help me (and I am a Spanish speaker person, it wasn’t because of a language issue). So definitely I would not recommend it, there are plenty of options for the same price and even cheaper, with more amenities and above all cleaner than them.

P.D: don’t do your laundry there.

Nice citygarden at the back. Good location near bars and restaurant in fancy neighborhood Poblado.

However, our MONEY got STOLEN from our (locked!) private room. This was while we had breakfast for a couple minutes. Around 350.000 COP.

When we notified the staff, the reply was that we should have used the locker inside our private room for valuables (small detail: there was no lock provided for the locker...). We were shocked that the staff wasn't suprised or bothered by it at all that someone broke into our room and searched our bags. Since the lock wasn't forced we think it was someone from the staff. Clearly, the remaining two nights of our stay we didn't feel comfortable at all. Ruined our stay in a great city.

This is a really cute hostel in a really cool area of Medellin. We enjoyed our stay there. You have different type of room dormitory and private. We shared with 2 other girls and the stay was fine. We would recommend it.
