The hotel is more than a km away from the IOC petrol pump and just mentioning opposite IOC petrol pump was misleading. Maybe I should have called and checked with the hotel before booking the trip on makemytrip and that is definitely a lesson learnt. I had booked the room for 2 days and the wireless internet worked for half of the first day and it was good as long as it was working. Thereafter it never worked till I was there for 2.5 days. No one bothered to check even after complaining which was worse.
The rooms are decent and the hotel is well maintained. Only the staff is what gives this place a distinct bad name.
Room service was pathetic. We called for water to be delivered to the room and it took 10 calls in a span of 90mins to both reception and room service to get the service. In another instant when we called to order the lunch at 1pm, we were told the 'master is not available and he will be there in 10 mins'. Thereafter it took multiple calls and finally the order was taken at 2.45pm and it was delivered after 3.15pm. However the quality of food was good and they have a good restaurant as long as it is working.
We were supposed to checkout at noon but did so only at 5pm. We were told to pay one more days additional payment and total additional payment requested was for 1903. I made the payment and when asked for the bill, the person at the reception said, we do not provide bills as our system cannot generate bills for additional payment made. Since I had my flight to catch, I did not want to get into an argument but need to say that I have never seen such a crap response.
Overall I have never been to such a poor place and I hope this feedback helps people in future.
Room Tip: Rooms are all good. Choose this hotel if you do not need good service.
