We stayed at the friendly house Bali for 2 days (we had an upstairs room with a double bed and a fan)

Facilities were clean and well looked after, the hotel/hostel was lovely, the pool had some crumbs in but was okay (tinier than we thought, but it turned out to be cosier this way) staff was super helpful and lovely. They refilled our water for free after all although we were told it's not free... you can rent scooters from them and we booked a shuttle bus to Padang bai which was affordable.

Breakfast was extra but tasted well.

Huge plus was the balcony and the nice surroundings =)

We'd stay there again although it was a bit far off ubud centre.

The friendly house ubud is a nice clean Hostel with a small pool. Hot and cold showers are available and the coffee is quite good here. The rooms and the Hostel are decorated nicely. Would come again.

Cute little hostel with really lovely staff. My room was nice, had a two bunk dorm with no one else in it, so I enjoyed it. The wifi was great and there's a great little pool. You can rent a bike here too. The location is a little bit out of the way, but if you can drive a bike this is no problem - you can rent one from the hostel, and I quite enjoy staying away from the main area as it means you see more of the place. The showers weren't great and there were always cats howling when you went to the bathrooms (which was quite painful to hear all the time - no idea what that was). Everyone that stayed there seemed really friendly but didn't get an opportunity to hang out with them. Worth a stay - lovely place.

The cleanest hostel I've stayed in so far. It's pretty new, only opened half a year ago, so everything is really new, like the furniture, showers, toilets, bedrooms. It's kept very clean each day. Staff is nice and helpful. Beds are comfy. Big lockers for your backpack and stuff. Wifi is decent, sometime a little slow. This hostel needs more attention, it's a little quiet compared to popular hostels, but if more travellers come for a visit it has the potential to become one of the top hostels in Ubud! Downsides are no pool and a little far away from the centre. But that makes it nice and quiet during the night. Would stay again!
