A beautiful, colonial style hotel set on a coffee plantation. Very tranquil location, excellent and friendly staff. We stayed in a large, rustic lodge with stunning views of the volcanoes. The restaurant was beautiful and the food good. The swimming pool is amazing.
When my family and I arrived, at this resort, we cannot help but to be amazed with it. It has a very nice and Instagram-able view. The resort itself has only 23 villas in a 11 something hectares of area. So you can imagine the space that you will have. We got one of the biggest villa at Bella Vista. So spacious that my kids can run around inside. It also has numerous facilities, including tennis court, kids facilities, (at least) 2 swimming pools. It also has full day activities that you and family can join for free. The staffs are also very helpful and friendly.
So if you look for a getaway vacation, this resort would be a suitable place. The only drawback is because its location, the road to get there is heavy and sometimes jammed. But overall this place is worth to visit
Located within a huge coffee plantation, this resort is perfect to rest for a few days. You have everything on spot to relax and just enjoy life. From the beautiful swimming pool to the spa, you have the whole package to get pampered. The food in the restaurants is excellent and healthy. The room is quite traditional and yet so comfortable. The staff is taking great care of the guests. Perfect service ! Nevertheless, we found it a bit difficult to explore the surroundings by ourselves.
I can only say: if you have the opportunity..... GO.
You will not be disappointed in any way. Accomodaties is more then nice , gardens are awesome, staff is most friendly, spa is great.
Enjoy the infinity pool. Just go and enjoy!
The setting is beautiful, amid the rolling hills of Central Java. It's not exactly next to the obvious sites. It took us 3 hrs for the drive from Yogyakarta, and it's an hour + to Borobodur. Its also not that far off the .Ian road, so you do hear cars in the distance. And definitely lots of calls to prayer from the mosques. But it definitely feels remote and tranquil. Highly recommend the waterfall hike through the rice terraces and villages which they can arrange.
Staff was all super helpful. Though they did charge me a few dollars for a glass candle enclosure I broke by accident, which was slightly odd given how much more we were spending there every day.
A nice ambiance. It's an old plantation so has lots of nice old buildings on the grounds. Has a bit of a faded charm - it's not the most modern in terms of fixtures and finishings.
Great food in the restaurant, which has a great view. Really good takes on Indonesian staples. Pretty decent cocktails. Breakfast buffet wasn't bad. They also have a separate bar though it doesn't have the view. Fairly nice pool - great view - though there aren't a ton of chairs to lay on and can fill up easily.
Room definitely had a faded charm. Spacious, dark wood and tile with a nice patio looking into the trees. A bit rough around the edges though and the bathroom could stand an update...
