When we first arrived, having stayed in a luxury villa for a week in Tangalle, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. My children, who are used to staying in 5 star hotels around the world, were firstly impressed by the speed of the WiFi (they are teenagers after all). From the outside, it needs a lick of paint, but once inside our family room, we were absolutely delighted. The family room actually consists of two separate bedrooms, with two bathrooms and the beds were so comfortable. The pool outside is clean and warm, and the breakfast served complimentary was delicious. What also struck me was the warmth and friendliness of the owners (I think they are a husband and wife team). Nothing was too much trouble; the even booked us dinner at a local restaurant away from the tourist areas which cost £8 for 4 of us, and organised transportation to and from. If I were passing through Sri Lanka again, it would definitely be on my list of places to go. It is comfortable and welcoming, and perfectly located (about 15 mins from the Fort in a tuk tuk for 300 rupees).

Manager Tony and his wife Maureen couldn't have done more for us - bery friendly and helpful people. Always happy to arrange transport to a local eatery, as on-site catering facilities were limited. Also could arrange for take-away delivery. Located within walking distance (half an hour) of the fort area (or a short tuk tuk ride). Relaxing pool, very peaceful location. Room clean and comfortable. Very happy to recommend.

We stayed 3 nights here when were in Galle. The villa is at the end of a lane way behind a gate - safe and secure. It's away from the main road so it's nice and quiet.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. While mostly clean, the apartment was a little dusty.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Fans and air conditioning kept us cool.
The bathroom is more of a wet room - the shower isn't screened. There wasn't enough hot water for us both to have a shower before breakfast - ok if one showered before breakfast and one after.
The villa is close the the Old Dutch Fort - it's a reasonable walk, or 5 minutes by Tuk Tuk. There a supermarket a short walk away if you need to buy good etc.
There is a pool and a lovely area to sit in - perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Galle.
Breakfast was quite good.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
