My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in the Standard Room Delux, and man was it worth it! The rooms are very well equipt with bed side tables, air conditioning, a large fan, and a very nice shower! The property itself is beautiful, with a great view of the neighbouring farms. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly. If you are a cat lover you have to come stay here, because there are some of the cutest cats that roam the property :)

My friend and I stayed here for a week in March 2014. It was perfect and set in absolute tranquility amongst the rice paddies. We woke up every morning to peace, aside from cows mooing and birds chirping, which was exactly what we were looking for. We rented a room with attached bathroom and A/C - no complaints - we felt it was of excellent value. We both highly recommend Soluna Guest House.

We stayed here for 5 nights. And we really loved our stay!

The first night we slept in the dorm (17rm), because we haddend booked. In the dorm we 5 bunkbeds, lockers and two desk. The bathroom had 3 toilet/shower cabins. Cold showers, but it's so hot on Langkawi you don't want to take a hot shower!

The second night en de nights after that, we slept in a double bedroom. The room was spacious, clean and you had everything you need. A toilet, shower(cold) and a sink, double bed, a desk, and you can choise fan or ac. In the room are bold provided but one works, the one you paid for. Fan is 50rm ac is 65rm.

You also get towels and you can asked for more.

Breakfast isn't included, but if you pay a little amound (2 till 8 rm) you can get breakfast at the reception.

The neighbour provides dinner for less.

Claudia the owner is really nice and helpfull! And the place is really wel looked after, will we where they were gardening.

It's a short walk throw the palmtrees to get to the main road and the beach.

Ps if you have a look at the pictures, that's really what it looks like.

Guesthouse located off the main drag along Pantai Cenang, charmingly set in harmony with surrounding nature, albeit causing the necessity to walk towards the main facilities (restaurants, foodstalls shops, beach etc). Operated by animal lovers, who are grooming several adorable kittens. Cats were our faithful companions during the late nights at the gazebo with a bottle of wine and a movie on tablet or a book to read - nuzzling and irresistible for stroking:) I opted for the airconditioned dorms with double bunk beds, while my friend booked the single bedroom (no bath attached though). TV with Astro satellite package for football enthusiasts and a fridge for storage of duty free beverages at travellers' disposal. Motorbikes on hand for rental, however we found a better deal elsewhere in Cenang.

We stayed at Soluna's at the beginning of february, did 3 nights in their dorm(RM17 per person per night) and 3 nights in a private room with fan and shared bathroom(RM40 a night) and we had a great time there. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach so you are close to everything but it's still quiet at night. The main area is a great place to just relax or have a drink with other travellers! The rooms are nice and clean and if there are any problems, the owners are never far away. It is quite full usually so if you do the walk-in you probably have to settle for a dorm, but they have aircon and nice beds so they are very good value for RM17! The best part about the guest house though is that little restaurant just behind it where you get the best food on the island and every dish is less than RM5! Overall we loved our stay at Soluna's and will gladly return there when we go back to Langkawi!
