Write a reviewOur first impression of this property is nice when we did our check in. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and that takes care of our long drive, having been greeted with a very warm welcome and a brimming smile !
When we check into the apartment, we were delighted with the cool, spacious unit ! It is a delight and great feeling when you walk into a sparkling clean room. All we wanted or expected were there and it really make our stay very comfortable.
The kitchen, the bath, the bedrooms, the living and sofas ...........everything !! Yes, we shall return.

This has became my regular accomodation everytime when I am in IPOH. I have booked for the 2 room apartment for 5 of us this time, and the size is really spacious that you don't find cramped. The size of the living room and kitchnette area is great for family to catch up at night. The apartment is fully airconditioned and also every room have it's own individual aircon which is good where you can control the temperature according to your liking. In addition, with the great zichar stall found nearby and also very friendly reception staff, it definately makes Osborne my first choice of stay at IPOH.
However, there is a few downside...
As i stay in the second floor, the noise level from the Gaming center next door is pretty disturbing in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep. And also, as this is a shophouse convert service apartment, they didn't have lift installed in the buidling. Hence, if you have problems climbing the stairs, this might not be advisable.

Stayed overnight at this property and yes for locals, Ipoh is always a great stop for foodies! We went in a group of friends and needed an apartment to chill out as we had plenty to catch up on which a hotel would not be suitable. The unit is a bit misleading from the photos posted on the website as it is actually situated in quite a busy road and you may miss it if you whizzed pass the road. Parking is available but limited.
Check in was quick and everything was minimalistic even down to the receptionist. Only one person manning the place but no problems at all as our unit was ready. My friends were impressed with the simple yet comfortable set-up. The unit is fully air-conditioned with 3 bedrooms which can sleep 8 pax (2 bedrooms with 1 double & 1 single bed and 1 master bedroom with a double bed & bathroom attached). Another bathroom was outside for sharing by the other 2 bedrooms. Dining table for 4 pax is availble with 4 chairs and 4 sets of crockery. Just wondering why 4 sets when the unit is meant for 8?
All amenities are available e.g. toiletries, towels, flat screen tv, microwave oven, good sized fridge, kettle and a sink for washing. Please note that cooking is not allowed hence no cooking utensils provided or stove. But who needs to cook in Ipoh anyway? And a plus point, wifi is free but speed could be improved.
Location of this property is fantastic and is short drive away from the city centre and the famous square of eateries, biscuits, pomelos, salted chicken & smoked duck haven. If without a car, I believe you can get by as there are some eateries opposite the apartment as well.
All in all, we were happy with this property and it is really value for money and a much cheaper option than a hotel. It is also very suitable for bigger families as all would be under 1 roof in their 3 bedroom units. They have smaller units (2 bedrooms & studios) if you don't need such a big unit.
Some negatives: The unit needs a bit of upgrade in terms of the bathrooms. The soap dispensers are like falling off the wall. Lack of hanging racks to put towels and clothes. Also the set up of the bathroom could be improved as once someone showers, the whole bathroom floor and toilet seats will be wet. Not sure how this can be overcome as the bathroom is not big.

Booked the 2-bedroom Junior Suite. Rooms were spacious, a mini kitchen with dining table and a small hall. Area was quiet at night and the location was a bit secluded. It was okay for a short stay or transit.

I Just came back from Ipoh on 17/06/13 , 3days 2 nights stay In Osbourne Apartment, Hotel are directly opposite Lucky Hotel and also near Sri maju Bus Terminal Jalan Bendahara about 8 mins walk, And Is great we can have an early check in due to Friday our room are available, thank You very much for your flexible adjustment we appreciated.
overall 1st good Location , 2nd easy to access to Old & new Town within walking distance,
Hotel room are spacious and very clean for 7 of us. and hope to keep it up with this standard and we definitively will be back to stay there.
