Write a reviewThe Haven is a very scenic all-suite resort, conveniently located within minutes drive to the main Ipoh town. It is very family-friendly, has a nice pool, a children’s playroom equipped with a foolsball table, Wii, and board games; and also a well equipped gym and sports facilities.
We were there over the New Year’s Eve weekend. It was very kind of the Haven to upgrade us to 3BR apartments which gave the kids lots of room to play and interact with their cousins.
Special shout out to Senior Reservations Exec. Ms Lai Kuan. She was very prompt in her response when we first enquired about the accommodation and was most helpful to assist us in arranging for our rooms to be on the same floor and also assisted us in dining reservations within the premises. What was most awesome about her was that she went out of her way to courier back my kids’ water bottles which they accidentally left behind at the reception area when we checked out!!
Another person that we were grateful to was Mr Aven from F&B. He promptly set up a private area to host our extended family @Cuisines after he realised there was an internal miscommunication that failed to reflect our booking for New Year’s Eve dinner.
The housekeeping staff that we made contact with during our stay were very friendly and they were very efficient and thorough in their job. This resort definitely impress with their service level and attitude!

My first stay at this place, stayed for a night on 3rd Jan 2021 for a full board package. The welcoming was excellent by Suman the security at the main entrance. The serenity welcome us the rest. Muthu an intern from Quest College delivered our luggage while explaining the facilities of the hotel during our way to the room. Great hospitality and smile by him. Food was good, Jeet and the team from Cuisines welcomed us for Dinner and he helped with our last minute request to suprise our friend for her birthday.
The room,cleanliness, amenities and the view from our balcony was beyond our expectations. I enjoyed the hot water jacuzzi and the pool so much
Kudos to all and thank you for an extraordinary memories!

We love our stay so much. All the staffs were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was nice ofcourse. And the food (we took the full board package) were so delicious especially the Singapore Laksa! Breakfast was good too.
And waking up to the view,mesmerizing!!
The only complaint was I took the Perakian package where it was promoted with late checkout at 2pm and even I reconfirmed on my check in, but when the day came they said they can only give us until 1pm because of sudden increase in booking. But well, that's ok. Just I feel that you should at least put some T&C maybe so we wont put our hopes high.
But other than that, everything was wonderful. Thank you so much for the great hospitality. My parents even planned to come again for our next short getaway.

Me and my family of 5 stayed here for 1 night on our back to KL from up north. We booked the 3 bedrooms suite with the lake view.
There are many things to like about this resort. Firstly, the suite we stayed in was really impressive! Very spacious, beautifully furnished, good quality appliances, super comfortable beds, fast wifi and last but not least, the amazing view of the lake, limestone hills and the swimming pool. The 3 bedrooms suite includes 3 bathrooms; kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker plus complimentary soft drinks, snacks and tea/coffee mixes; living area with dining table, sofa, coffee table and a big screen smart TV with multiple cable channels. There’s another TV in the master bedroom.
The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Starting from the security guard at the entrance gate, to the team at The Cuisines and even the guy who look after the pony, they were all very helpful and made us feel welcome.
The resort has many facilities - a huge swimming pool that caters for both adults and children; jogging track around the lake, fully equipped gym, badminton and basketball courts, ping pong and also a spa. I used the gym and my wife went for the spa treatments and we were both happy with the experience.
We had great time at this resort and will certainly stay here again as a family. Perhaps one area which can be improved is the buffet breakfast. After all the 5 stars services, rooms and facilities, the buffet breakfast turned out to be quite average if compared to other 5 stars hotels.

The arriving experience was superb! Everything was great, until the next days (Christmas eve and Christmas). Guess Haven needs to improve in handling the almost full occupancy of guests. Can see most staff tried their best to accommodate, but with better management direction and skill, could still maintain a 5 star service level. Morning egg station cannot be handled more and asked us to come back to order only later as unable to cope. Breakfast on Christmas day was totally chaos and nobody is able to follow CMCO SOP, like table was not sanitised, no proper queue guidelines among guests. One thing really good was guests provided with glove as we touch on each ladle when taking buffet food. Too bad many did not use it. Room still had dust when we arrived and asked for room cleaning again, room attendant supervisor told us that it was actually from renovation that just ended a day before and we were the first guests hence the renovation dust still there, they helped to entirely wiped all over, and was improved. Overall experience was good and relaxing. One thing love that all rooms were facing lake view which is perfect. I think with the package price though, the full board menu could be enhanced, as in fruits, desserts and drinks.

1) Is there room service? Yes, there is and there is also in-house dining. Order your lunch or dinner to eat at the balcony of your suite and enjoy a view "to die for" as you dine.
2) What about baby crib?
Yes, there is a baby crib. You only have to ask and it will be provided.
3) Do all rooms come with kitchenette?
There is a microwave oven, and you can ask for microwave containers. There is also a fridge. Cutlery and crockery are provided. If you stay for 7 days or more, the kitchenette can be used.
4 Is baby bottle steamer provided?
No, it is not provided, so please bring your own.

Your friends are welcome to visit you when you are staying with us. Please inform us as to their names and vehicle number in order for them to get through security. In addition, our resort hotel is a favorite with families, and our guests come for peace and quiet and a restful night. Guests are expected to be gone by 10.00pm.
If your guests plan to stay overnight, we suggest that you book a larger suite that accommodates the extra people. Call us at +605 540 0000 to change your suite type.

Yes, the suite is sufficient for 2 adults and a child. If the child is young enough to share the bed, there is no need for an extra bed. If there is a request for an additional bed, there is an additional charge but that would include a complimentary breakfast.

2+1 bedroom Lakeview Superior- this 3 bedroom-suite (2 double bedrooms and a single room with a sofa bed) comes with living room, dining area, balcony and 2 bathrooms (one on suite). It also has a kitchenette (for use by long staying guests) and can accommodate up to 4 adults only. A 5th person can be accommodated with an additional single bed which can be arranged with housekeeping at a reasonable charge. Room size: 1172~1355 sf. Bed Size(s): 1 King Bed + 1 Queen Bed + 1 Sofa Bed.
2+1 bedroom Lakeview Deluxe- this 3 bedroom-suite (2 double bedrooms and a single room with a single bed) comes with living room, dining area, balcony and 2 bathrooms (one on suite). It also has a kitchenette (for use by long staying guests) and can accommodate up to 4 adults only.
