I stayed here for 7 days. I paid to upgrade my room to a larger room on the 4th floor. The room was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff and the reception staff were always helpful in arranging tours, transport etc. The dining room on the ground floor was excellent for casual meals and the breakfast was good with multi ethnic choices. The bar on the roof was well utilised and food could also be ordered up there. My only negative was the noise outside the room from motorbikes on the nearby intersection. Bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Good service. Wifi provided with a fast speed. Clean and comfortable. Safe as we only can proceed to our room by scanning the room card in the lift. Airport transfer is available with a reasonable price.

Was in Kuching for a short break to visit friends over the long weekend and decided to stay in a new hotel near Chinatown. I stayed at the Executive Suite, which had all the amenities of a luxurious hotel room, complete with bathrobes and slippers. It's a really good way to pamper yourself--the room was very quiet (perhaps because it wasn't peak season when I went) and I had really good sleep. The room came with complimentary breakfast, which I had a quick taste of before I was picked up by friends to go for my favourite food in Kuching--laksa! The breakfast was okay, and could do with better scrambled eggs (although most hotels I've stayed in in Malaysia don't seem to know how to make it) but nothing quite special about that. Still, it came with the room so I couldn't resist trying it.
I loved the fact that I was constantly connected to the internet (free wifi throughout the hotel) but that wasn't the only thing I liked about the hotel. From the jazzy piped music in the lobby to the tasteful decor (there are very subtle stencils of flowers and other designs on some walls), for some reason I felt an affinity with the theme of simplicity the hotel seemed to project. I think it's ideal for readers and writers, especially the latter who want to get away for a few days or weeks to work on their writing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and every day life.

We had a room on level 2, with window facing the back lane. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. Check in was quick and all the staffs were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is ok, although there are not many choices, but enough for me and my mum as we wanted to try out the many local food stores nearby, especially along Jalan Padungan. They offer shuttle services to many different parts of Kuching and also day tour booking, which was one of the main reason I booked the hotel. I booked 2 local tours through them. I enjoyed both and especially liked the tour to the Sarawak Cultural Village, in which we had a very knowledgeable guide, Eric from Diethelm. We also used the shuttle service to the airport and the fare they charged is the same as taxi fare.
