I cannot imagine a better way to decompress from the hustle and bustle of KL city life than going to one of The Saujana Hotel's Wine Dinners. My 3 tennis buddies and I attended their St Hugo Wine and Food paired dinners held at their steakhouse, Charcoal, last night and we had a blast. The dishes comprised of smoked duck, spiced rubbed ribs, coconut served Calamari, Grilled venison and rack of lamb to just name a few of my favorites of the night. The speaker Billy (from down under) guide us through our pairing very well and Shivanes and his team of expertly attentive staff took care of us and the rest of the room. But I have to admit I was very glad to see that not only was the food and wine superb, but that Saujana had some staunch regulars that genuinely enjoyed coming to their events and made us newbies feel right at home. Can't wait for the next one.

Nice landscape with calm and peaceful environment. The room a bit old but good maintenance. My room without scenery, window just facing to the building wall. No balcony. TV without HD channel. Overall it is a nice hotel.

We stayed at the Terrace Room which has open access from the room to Saujana’s beautiful landscape (we paid extra for this feature and its more secluded area vs other rooms).
Unfortunately the room was subpar.
The floor was still dusty. When we switched on the water for the tub, the water was brown initially so we had to clean the stains before refilling the tub. The bed had a spring jutting out. It was as though the room didn’t have a proper clean up prior to our arrival.
Thankfully the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. Otherwise I would have rated this 1/5.
Unfortunately the room was subpar.

Always love to come back to this place. Now the management has combined The Club and the hotel so service isn't as good. What a pity. It took us a long time to get our room because they did not tell us about the problem when we reserved. Our booked room was under repair. They were somehow very accommodating to find us a suitable and equivalent room. The view was not as good as we had hoped but it was OK. They really need to refurbish their rooms at The Club, they all look very tired and worn out! The breakfast at The Club has gone down in quality and quantity. Food and titbits at the Cocktail hour was fine and quite good. Still enjoyed this privilege. The staff is still very courteous, and helpful and they truly try their best to meet your requests. At the front desk if you have coupons from now on you need to use their app on your phone to use them. We normally don't download any apps on our phone because it takes too much space and every one wants us to use their apps nowadays! And if you don't, you can't use your vouchers! No compromise. That is too bad and not helpful at all. So we had to download the app, use the vouchers and uninstall the app. Not practical at all. Then we had no electrical power the the first night!!! So we both could not sleep well since we could not open any windows, it got real hot and uncomfortable. On our 2nd morning, we had breakfast at Charcoal because the choice at The Club is too limited and not very good! Not so practical since you have to walk quite a distance to Charcoal restaurant!
This time, the whole trip was a bit disappointing with the electrical problem, the choice of the room and the lack of choice at breakfast time at The Club. I beg the management to do something about it and bring back the best this hotel deserves, especially at The Club.

Could do better with the room size and food choices, however it was a pleasant and nice stay. WE enjoyed it! Probably could be better if we had the room upgraded as per mentioned in the website (free room upgrade if booked through the hotel website). Very comfortable beds, complimentary baby cot was a nice gesture. Shower was tricky, sometimes it was hot, the next minutes suddenly the water got so cold suddenly.
