We were traveling as a family of 4. 2 adults and children aged 8 and 16. When you check in you are welcomed by the owner. You receive a welcoming plate of cheese and prossciuto with a glass of wine. The room was nice and modern. Me and my wife took the bedroom while children took a sofa which was converted into a bed. The sofa it self was a bit outdated since it was squeaking. The owner and her son are friendly and they keep a few cats around so good to know regarding alergies. We stayed there for 4 days and the breakfast is self service and always the same. Eggs sunny side up with a piece of Bacon. Variety of bread two sorts of salami and cheese. 3 types of jam, cottage cheese and butter. One sort of croassant and milk, jogurt and one type of cereals. I asked if there is a possibility of making scrambled Eggs. No go was the ansewer from the owner. So if you are staying for a longer period there is not much to choose from. On our check out I was informed that they cannot accept Credit card. So I had to go to the atm on a sunday morning and also had to pay atm conversion rates since We are not grom Croatia. I was very surprised by this cos a year before when We visited everything mentioned above was great. Unfortunately We Will not be returning to this establishment.

Large, clean, and very tastefully designed suites on a quiet street in walking distance to Porec's old town in one direction, and the coastal area for swimming in the other. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and the complementary breakfast was a particular highlight (fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, fresh pastries, eggs, ham, cheese, etc.). Old town Porec is somewhat less impressive than its nearby neighbor Rovinj but has a number of good restaurants and is a good base for exploring the surrounding area. We would definitely stay at Villa Karda again if we return to the area.

Good Rooms. However, Description of Hotel does not clearly say No Air-conditioner in the Bedroom. There is only one Air-conditioner in the Living area with a Sofabed and if you want the Bedroom cool keep the bedroom door open is what the receptionist rudely suggested (having zero respect for ones privacy).
Inadequate breakfast, Overpriced.

It was only on Booking.com intervention that the rude receptionist on being told off by his boss, offered another room with Air-conditioning. However, it was impractical to sleep in two different rooms on 2 different floors.

Room Tip: Bedroom does not have AC. Only Living Area has AC so one needs to sleep with the bedroom door...

Stayed here for one night on our trip. The owner was very friendly, we had a clean and big room like an apartment with seperate living room. The breakfast was amazing omelet made to order by owner. City center was a 3-5min walk. So everything was perfect.

Pleasantly surprised. We were a little concerned on arrival as we thought we were far from the centre, but in fact it was only a 7 min walk. The apartment was great. Two flat screen Tvs, one in bedroom, one in living room! Great wifi. Good kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. Super comfy bed and pillows. Very helpful owner. Free parking right outside. What's not to like!
