We booked the restaurant lunch time which we needn’t have done as there was plenty of room
Staff were friendly and very professional food very good and even given a complimentary dessert
Only problem wine we selected out of stock so had to purchase more expensive bottle
My wife, 5 other friends and I stayed one night here during our tour in Trogir. The hotel is small but lovely. There is a small restaurant on ground floor. We had breakfast and dinner here which were fairly good. My room was on the second floor. Since there was no elevator, we had to walk up ourselves. Anyway my room is clean and spacey. The toilet is good enough. All staff were very welcoming. We felt happy with this place.
Booked a room with water view for our last night in Croatia. The staff thought it funny they were over-booked and offered us another room. As it was a busy Saturday and we had an early flight the next morning, we were stuck in a sub-par AirBnB on a noisy street. Tried to have Travelocity rectify the situation, BUT suddenly no one at the hotel could speak english.
Then I was charged full price for the room I booked even though I didn't stay there.
Booked and paid for a hotel room, ended up in a crappy room. Photo is of room they put us in far from the actual hotel.
Very poor welcome by head waiter who was clearly not interested. Tiny room at top price with no drying facility despite request. Upside was the very good breakfast with super staff (Antonia and Paula)who spoke good English with a smile despite being very busy - unlike the owner who turned up every morning looking bored and miserable, didn’t speak to any guests, moaned at staff, then went. Would return to Trogir but not this hotel. We asked for room with balcony as visiting for 2 weeks but refused. Most people only go for 2 or 3 nights.
I bet this is a lovely place, and we looked forward to our stay in August, but upon receiving our Hotels do-t com booking confirmation it said we had a "smoking preference." I was on the phone to them immediately as we surely did NOT have a smoking preference. They contacted the hotel while I held and were told that despite the online information of the hotel only referencing "designated smoking areas," they could not guarantee a smoke-free room.
Though I made contact with them within 5 minutes of booking one night over 4 months way, we were still billed 10% for a cancellation fee. Yes, that is their policy, and of which I was aware, but within 5 minutes for a legitimate concern over semantics ? thought all should know.
