I booked my stay with these a while ago, and once I arrived in Thailand I met fellow travellers who needed to book something - so I recommended this place and noticed the place had dropped in price massively and I was over paying. When I mentioned this to staff, I did get a slight discount and a night free (as I arrived a day early) which was nice and gave me free food, but after full moon I was paying what worked out about double what everywhere else was selling for. For that it was a little disappointing, but not terrible!

I will say Taco made my stay here amazing, such a nice man who will help anyway he can! Well done Taco! I will also say the volunteers were nice, Dave was cool and Me Singh was nice when I finally met him! Even gave me a free beer!
If in low season I advise to NOT book in advance!

As for the room - I liked my bed and space however the room is a magnet for mosquitos! The bathroom have vents and they fly in and you cannot close the bathroom doors, they ping back open so even with repellent I was still bitten about 4/5 times a night (I stayed for 6 nights so yes I was covered!) the bedroom door (stayed in the big dorm) opens outside so they were also coming in that way too. If you could look into something to kill those that get in, or prevent this so doors can close, something to cover the open vents in the bathrooms.

I found the hostel esp on full moon a little clicky all in their own groups, I knew people who I met in previous hostels so hung out with them during the full moon otherwise might have been bored.

It’s a nice hostel, the pool and jacuzzi area are nice but I feel those things let it down a little.

The Staff is even better then the Hostel itself. Somebody broke the faucet in my room (??!) but they fixes it directly on the next morning!
Management and all other staff (especially bartneder Emilia) extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms and pool area are clean and get fixed if something is broke. Location is 5min to the beaches and close to any needs.

Me and my friend stayed here for the full moon party. The first issue was the fact you had to stay minimum of four nights which rather tied us down with our schedule. Secondly the WiFi was really bad and we could rarely use it successfully. Also the room was rather small for six people and some of the mattresses were really thin and hard which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Also there was only one bathroom containing one toilet and one shower for a whole floor of rooms which probably contained about 25 beds. The shower also was very poor, coming out like a trickle of water and sometimes it stopped completely. However that being said the location is great for the full moon party being a five to ten minute walk from the beach where it’s held and the outdoor area in this hostel was the best we’ve seen so far and had a really fun vibe going on! The hostel was also very clean and well kept.

This guest house was super quirky and fun, loved the themed rooms! We were in the John Lennon private room - a really novelty! The room was perfectly adequate and the guest house had a lovely pool and swim up bar. Food was also extensive and yummy! Great location too, very close to Head Rin beach and some lovely bars and restaurants. There was no safe in the room however, which would have been beneficial. Only other thing was that check out took a lengthly time as no one that was able to do it was at the reception desk - staff were polite and friendly though.

The place to stay in Haad Rin! We were here for full moon & loved our stay. This hostel gives back what you put in - if you're open to meeting people/having fun your stay will be great. Met some amazing people and the staff were perfect.
- Charlene at the front desk was a sweetheart, gave us great ideas of where to eat & what to do.
- Josh & Bell at the bar were great to chat to, made a mean drink and always had a smile on their faces.
- Dave was super helpful....was drying some clothes and dropped them off the balcony. Dave acted like spiderman and saved my swimmers.
Beds are hard & the rooms small but you just don't care because the atmosphere is so good. Our room had an ensuite which was nice the day after full moon. Having a pool there also helped with the hangovers.
Make sure you have some of the BBQs during full moon, super tasty and not a bad price for all you can eat.
