As we drove to the hotel it was squeezed in besides another one. With a small entrance . The reception/lobby was tiny and rather abysmal with a depressing desk. A young girl signed us in, and no welcoming drink at this stage. Two young girls struggled with our bags to our room, which was uncomfortable to watch. However as we went through into the gardens, the accommodation was set out in lovely separate villas, beautiful infinity pool, all on the sea front. Attractive plants. Though no beach here, our room, 807, had a great location so we could see the waves from our balcony.
Large clean room, with outside bathroom. Air conditioned, Welcome drinks arrived, one downside were the lack of bright lights, they went for atmosphere, rather than functionality to be able to read. We removed the lamp shades to produce some light.
Unfortunately I fell ill after eating their fish for dinner, though we were told that other guests apparently were OK. Once the staff knew I was ill, they were very good. Our guide ordered a rice porridge which was promptly delivered
The next day we had to stay in and took a day out of our tour, so we relaxed and enjoyed the sea front location Having avoided any further food, I was OK after 36 hours.
A nice hotel and is conveniently located as we walked to many nearby shops.

This small hotel has a fantastic view on the bay and is located next to the lagoon. The staff was always helpful and smiling, the best hospitality Ive experienced in Bali (been to a variety of places, Ubud, Lovina, Kuta, upscale and less so). The pool is nice but a bit small. Spa was relaxing and staff was skilled.

Rooms are a bit basic, with a big padlock as the lock when you leave the room, but it was ACed, clean and had a comfortable four poster bed. The bathroom is outdoors which was a fun experience.

I enjoyed this place and regretted not staying longer then 1 day.

Small bedroom, but with mosquito nets. Television did not work and WIFI had a weak signal.
Bathroom was outside, but with high wall surroundings so no problem.
The washbasin was very low, I had to bend and I am not that big :-).
Our toilet was leaking so a flooded bathroom was not good for my mood.

During breakfast they were not able to keep up with the number of people eating. I waited 10 minutes for pancakes, the scrambled eggs plate was soon empty and it took a long time until they refilled it. But they kept smiling 'it would come soon'.

The hotel on the other hand is very close to the ocean, so you can linger at the pool with a nice view.

Stayed here as part of a small group tour. This small hotel is 100m down a small track off the main road, so it is pretty quiet. The restaurant is right by the sea, next to the small swimming pool. The rooms are all close to the sea and have aircon and a pleasant bath/shower area, some of which are outside. Rooms spacious, clean and tidy with in-room safe and free wi-fi. A couple of happy hour places nearby had beer at 25K, although it was not much more expensive in the hotel, Most of the other restaurants were on the busy main road, so we ate at the hotel and were not disappointed. Breakfast pretty good with choice of American or Indonesian (not buffet).

Good:
The staff was very friendly and also the international breakfast was good. The pool is located directly at the beach and you have a very nice view of the sea. On sunny days you can even see the island Nusa Penida.

Not so good:
The furnishing was old and the air conditioner was not working effectively. We had to run the air conditioner on 16°C during the whole day to have a moderate temperature in our room during the night. The room door and windows are not closing properly but you can lock them from inside. The standard rooms for two persons are quite small with no possibility to place your luggage.

Total:
With a bit of investment this guest house could charge even double the price due to its perfect location.
