Stayed at the Blue Star in Sept but just the wife and I this time, had all the family there in July. As always felt like 2nd home when we arrived, straight in to holiday mode. Pool, bar as always great & bonus of attending CJs(ex Blue Star barman) wedding with other guests which was a real blast. Restaurant as always superb and vastly underrated on TA. Couldn't fault the Blue Star , back on 2020.

This was our second visit to the “Blue star” once again it did not disappoint, the rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean, all the staff go above and beyond to assist you in whatever way they can! Breakfast is typical Turkish breakfast but everything is fresh daily, pool area is very well kept with good comfortable sunbeds, a few times the bar staff actually brought out drinks we ordered to our sun beds, they do not have to do this, we are getting married next year and will be staying at this hotel again, when we were there we asked to book some rooms for our wedding guests, they were fantastic in sorting this out, we told them we needed to got to an ATM machine to get money for deposits, they were like no problem we will get the deposit from you later, they were more interested in booking us rooms than the money, Begum on the reception is amazing she cannot do enough for you, always has a smile and greeting every time you see her, Mehmet is a lovely welcoming man, on our last day our transfer came quite a bit early and we were eating, he was asked by the hotel staff to wait, this was not a problem. However when we went to get into our mini bus the driver was gone, Mehmet got straight on the phone to find out where the driver was, in minutes the driver was back, Mehmet sent us on our way with hugs and kisses wishing us a safe journey home, it annoys me when a very small minority of people have said bad things about Mehmet and his staff, I promise you there are lovely people, can’t wait for next year to return.

This hotel was very basic, but comfortable. Economy rooms are small, but nicely decorated.
The room was tidied every day and clean towels daily.
The only complaint I have is that the towels and bedding were very worn and threadbare.
Towels especially need replacing. Sheets were frayed.
The hotel is in easy walking distance to the main beach and attractions.
Pool. very nice and never busy.
Our transfer and flight was a late one, so we asked for room extension.
We were charged £45 which is a bit steep.
Also, you are charged extra for air con, which you definitely need. Never paid extra for that in Spain or Greece.

Room Tip: Opt for the deluxe rooms if possible as much more space apparently. Economy rooms a bit cramped...

The location is perfect, 5min walking to the beach and 15 min to the Blue Lagoon.
Our room is cozy, very clean and with the pool view with a small balcony.

The noise it's unbearable at least midnight you can not sleep.

The staff is very nice, in the hotel and in the restaurant, instead who i think is the owner, very rude.

The pool is great, especially if you are traveling with kids.

The internet is miserable.
