Great hotel with a breathtaking view of the lake! The staff are helpful and the service is good! The bathrooms has warmed floors that is really good on the winter. The room is big and comfortable! The breakfast is simple but good!
The check in was easy, roomy & clean. Beautiful lobby and parlor. All room have lake view. Indoor/outdoor pool. Restaurant in hotel & others close by. Lots of outdoor activities near by.
Restaurant at hotel is only open for a few hours in the evening.
I am a travel agent and i been i Bariloche during several years in different hotels and i stayed here for 2 nights with a family of 5 people, The setting was gorgeous, right on the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi with crazy views from the room and the swimming pool on the night..Rooms were very comfortable and the public areas had a real homey feel. The spa and pool were a great help at the end of a day very hard and the room at the night with a big silence where you can open your window and feel the noise of the waves,,,,. Milena the masseuse was just fantastic and for the staff i have no words to thanks them all the good feelings and 5 stars services... Thanks Imanol and Ana for a really great time in a place like home.. i see you again
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights of our honeymoon last month. It sits just outside the center of town, so a rental car is optimal. The setting was gorgeous, right on the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The pool area was great, including a small jacuzzi and an indoor/outdoor pool that literally fell off into the lake. Beyond it was just water and the peaks of the Andes. There is a great wine selection at the bar upstairs and a pretty good breakfast is provided every morning. The room itself was nice, comfortable bed, every room has a great unobstructed view of the lake. From here, you can easily drive up to Catedral for some skiing or hiking, we also roadtripped down to El Bolson which we highly recommend. We also made it up to Lago Traful and the seven lakes district, also a can't miss.
We chose this hotel based on the ratings on here and were not disappointed. Service from the moment of enquiry was friendly.
Rooms are comfortable with king size beds and well appointed furniture. We had a good view over the lake and mountains when the snow lifted. I was a little surprised that there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room.
The spa and pool were a great help at the end of a day skiing - even at zero degrees it was nice to be able to swim outside and watch the sunset. It would have been better it staff could have warmed
up the sauna during the day as every time I went to use it, the sauna was off and just took far too long to reach the proper temperature.
Breakfast was okay - I have to admit we struggled with the focus on sweet pastries and would have liked to have seen more yoghurts and cereals, but it was fine and filled us up for skiing.
Location wise, km 5.4 from town was great as we didn't get a good impression of the centre of Bariloche. There are a number of good parillas and other restaurants within walking or short driving distance. It took us 15 minutes to get to Cerro Catedral for some awesome skiing and the Circuito Chico and Llao Llao are just a short drive away, as is the airport.
Whilst there is a hotel restaurant, we found it to be a bit pricey so only ate there on our first night during a snow storm.
