Meadowland Farm and it’s owners Simon and Lucie are fabulous.
Cannot fault the room, food or owners in anyway. Absolutely 5 star and we will be back soon.
Amazing countryside which is amazing for walks and cycling
Spotless room and bathroom lovely food and made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble..charging mobile phones, printing maps out, really went the extra mile. Would definitely go back and really made our weekend. Gardens beautiful and a lovely peaceful setting.
Cannot recommend highly enough..thank you.
Recently stayed here whilst visiting friends in the surrounding areas. Twin room was clean and comfortable and had amazing views over the grounds of the house. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with fresh milk daily and a brilliant choice for breakfast including fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals; breakfast of your choice cooked to order if you preferred something more substantial - excellent. Lucie is the perfect host and a perfect place to stay. Will definitely visit again
The en-suite double room was immaculate and extremely comfortable, it had everything we needed. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The farmhouse is in the middle of the countryside by the River Torridge, in the most peaceful setting, but very close to main routes for days out. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Lucie was always ready to advise on nearby restaurants or places to visit, and made us feel totally at home. I could not recommend this place highly enough, we would not hesitate to book again.
We travelled as a family of three and stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting friends locally. This was our second stay and had no hesitations booking again after our first stay. We were made to feel very welcome again, the room with its separate entrance and en-suite is of a good size and very comfortable (bed). Breakfast is amazing. A cooked to order breakfast, fresh fruit and a variety of cereals. Our little one (3 year old) was in his element staying on the farm helping to feed the pigs and collecting eggs from the hens. Again we couldn't fault the place and would happily return....possible staying in the shepherds hut which looked amazing!
