We were planning on staying at a neighboring hotel, but it was closed due to the virus. We arrived at Drury early and were greeted with a friendliness we weren’t expecting. We were given a room with a great view of the mountains. The room was very clean. There was no housekeeping but that wasn’t a problem. I was able to use the pool and it was clean. My husband used the fitness facilities and was very satisfied. The breakfast was acceptable. Given the situation, we were happy to have a hot breakfast. The choices were the same each day. The kickback at the dinner hour was also acceptable. We ate large lunches so we we able to have a nibble for dinner.
The staff was exceptional! We asked and were told many workers were furloughed which should have been noticeable but not so at all. We never felt the stress from the staff. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Shout out to Bo, the general manager. He went above and beyond taking care of all of our needs. He is definitely one of the hardest working people I have met.
I highly recommend this hotel. And I also know in the future we will stay at other Drury Inn and Suites. I hope this level of professionalism is something we will experience throughout the chain.
Great experience highly recommend they spoke to me by name breakfast was great kick back at night was awesome i was well taken care of and very grateful. Clean room comfy bed. Pool is inside and outside
We have stayed at the Drury Inn several times over the last 10+ years. The indoor/outdoor pool, and the hot tub are just the right temperature, and are always clean. The rooms are nice and quiet, with soft beds. The staff is always friendly. The food, and drinks are good both in the evening, and in the morning. You will love the Drury Inn
Spent my birthday this year here. I was impressed by this hotel. The Lobby is super clean and the staff was really friendly but not in the phony way. They have plenty of luggage dollies. There's a small breakfast eating area. In the lounge/lobby area there was a popcorn maker and they give out popcorn. I think I saw a small business center. We used the indoor/outdoor pool and the hot tub. Towels are provided in the pool area. Plenty of parking. Right across the parking lot is an amazing restaurant Black Bear Diner. Across the street is Walnut creek shopping with bunch more restaurants. There's also a movie theatre and bowling close by.
Our room was clean with a nice view of the MTNS and the shopping center. Bed must have been good because I slept pretty good. Bathroom was clean with plenty of water pressure. Closet had Iron board and iron. Room had mini fridge and microwave and nice size flat TV. Most importantly I was able to access the HDMI to watch my Ipad movies. Overall the room was good and we had a nice stay. I would definitely stay here again. It's a good spot right between Boulder and Denver and not too far from DIA.
I say give it a shot.
Overall we had a good stay. Room was clean and comfy. One really great thing about this hotel is that there are walking/biking trails right behind the hotel-we were able to go for a nice walk by just stepping outside the door. Lots of wildlife to be seen-bunnies and deer and, of course, tons of prairie dogs. There are lots of city comforts as well-restaurants, a movie theater, Target and other shopping are all very close. The indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. The hotel was so, so very busy this particular weekend-that did mean that the pool and hot tub were very full, and that it was like a gladiator match to get breakfast; everything kept running out, and the poor breakfast attendant was really running. Breakfast is serviceable but not particularly healthy, and the same can be said for the afternoon "kickback." Still, it is nice to be able to give your child a free hot dog in the afternoon. I bet a large family could use the Drury to eat a hearty breakfast and a decent kickback evening meal and save on food cost, but of course, the offerings are cheap and carb-heavy, which is expected when the food is free. Three free alcoholic drinks in the afternoon are an unusual perk as well, but we weren't too into that. The one elevator was very busy during our stay. If you want a hotel with character there are many more appropriate choices-this is a basic hotel. If you are looking for a cheap and comfortable place to stay with free breakfast and free parking, this will work just fine. I'd stay here again.
