We had the "deluxe" king room. Just an ordinary room with a king bed. This motel is old - maybe 1940s. and so the rooms are understandably small. They were clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a smell in the room like oriental food. I don't know if it had been cooked in the room or in a room next door, but there was definitely a smell - and you don't expect it. We walked in the room with the innkeeper and it was very cold. We asked where we could turn down the AC. She stood on the bed and closed the vent. Rooms weren't separately cooled - a central AC unit. We opened the window to warm the room up a bit. The neighborhood was nice - right by downtown, but it's a quiet town. The parking is crowded, but we got the last place to park. I suppose you just park on the street if you run out of space. The biggest negative for me was the smell - I like oriental food, just not the smell of it in my bedroom. Only two pillows on the king sized bed so if you are a two-pillow sleeper, you may want to bring an extra pillow.
