I booked our reservation for one of the nights of our fall foliage tour. As always, our Fairfield room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were Very helpful and friendly. It’s great to be able to trust the Fairfield brand.
This is a contemporary Fairfield Inn conveniently located near downtown and the highway. Comfortable rooms. Only downsides were a slightly below average breakfast and a plugged up sink in the room. Friendly congenial service. A good stay.
Room was clean and carpeting had been updated. Lighting in the room is dim/poor though and should be updated to LEDs. The staff was all very friendly. Hotel is located at the end of a side road but the parking lot is well lit and felt safe. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of good options and the area was clean and attended to. Good option for a stay.
First time staying at a "Fairfield" property and was very pleasantly surprised. Despite the idea of a smaller town with "limited" options, the property was very comparable if not better than properties in a large urban center.
The property is in a great location within walking distance of the charming "old town" area and the state capitol building, as well being located close to the highway.
The check-in was a breeze with a friendly agent and the property appeared clean and well maintained.
The room was large with a comfortable semi-separate sitting area, 2 modern and "streaming service ready" TV's.
The room and review would have received a 5-star review had the HVAC system been more modern, and quieter while in operation.
The included morning breakfast was fresh and had a wide variety of choices.
Typical Fairfield inn experience for two nights recently. Since Saturday was the 1st day of bike week, I believe they were able to upcharge an additional $40 for that night, not really happy about that. They forgot to clean the room the next day, but they did give extra towels which was the most important thing. AC worked well, we like it cool/cold for sleeping. Beds comfortable and bathroom was clean. Did not partake of breakfast, but that was included as per usual for this chain. A good, solid choice when in town, and best of all...close to the Common Man restaurant!
