Great value for money for central Fira.
Villa Roussa is small hotel centrally located right next to the main bus terminal in Fira.
Our room was small but we were hardly in it over the two nights we were there.
The beds were comfortable and the air con worked well. We were concerned about noise from the bus park but once the windows were closed the noise was completely blocked out.
Friendly service at reception, they kindly helped to arrange transport to and from the port.
The small jacuzzi pool on the roof was a great way to refresh tired feet after a day exploring the town.
The Villa Roussa is located right next to bus and taxi station. It’s very close to the town center as well. Our room was fine - not large but space enough. It had had a double bed and a single bed as well as air con, fridge and kettle. The room is cleaned, provided with new towels each day. It doesn’t have a view of the port/Caldera but they are only a short walk away and given the cheap price, it’s a workable compromise. The roof pool/spa was empty when we were here but it was a little chilly anyway - I guess it will come into use once the really hot weather comes.
We had our (self provided) breakfasts/lunches on the roof - great views.
Some place great store on the caldera view but in general you certainly have to pay for it ! This place is a good value for money option
Weren't sure what we were getting but very surprised. Group of 8 of us travelling Greek Islands can be hard to accommodate for while keeping prices low. This place did it for us. 4 in each room, and in the downstairs courtyard so we could all hang out together. Towels changed each day, bathrooms and rooms cleaned everyday, very tidy place and nice looking place. So close to everything in Fira town. Bus station across road. Also has a small pool on roof which is good to cool off in the afternoons. Picked us up from port also. Good place to rest your head.
We were picked up from the port in an air-conditioned van! upon arrival we were informed that 4 of our group of 7 were staying in a neighbouring hotel! This hotel was not of the same standard as villa roussa and after a brief argument the price was reduced by €15 per room. The location is excellent for santorini and the room I stayed in was exactly what is portrayed on the website. The pool on the roof is very small but was never busy while we were there. Rooms were spotless with great bathrooms.
Excellent hotel. No breakfast, this was more like serviced rooms. Excellent value for money. There were 4 of us and we booked 2 rooms. They both exceeded my expectations. We had been staying in a more expensive hotel, but needed to find somewhere cheaper for 5 nights. The excellent rooms were totally renovated and clean. Great bathroom too with new fittings (you go a long way in Greece to find an acceptable bathroom). Rooms were kept spotless everyday. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a tiny balcony also. Upstairs is a lovely roof garden with a pool. It is close to the bus station and taxi rank, but it didn't bother us. Lots of cheap eats close by also. Would recommend this to anyone. If you are looking for a budget place to stay, don't go anywhere else.
