Staff didn't address curfew
Pool and elevator dirty
Staff not friendly upon arrival.
Lobby area dirty at night with lots of traffic.
Digital key not reliable for all entries.
Housekeeping didn't happen until late afternoon.
There were cobwebs in the lamp shades - white stains on one of the couch cushions which was just flipped over upon arrival - the pool was always out of towels - when we tried calling the front desk the two times we did no one ever answered so when I walked down to the front desk I still found no one at the desk and a line of 4 couples waiting to check in - also, the beds were absolutely the hardest, most uncomfortable beds ever.
The facilities were not up to snuff on cleanliness. Apparently someone puked in the pool and two days later it still wasn't cleaned.
My guest room was only half way clean with dirt in the bathroom and stains on the carpet. I feel like I could have gotten a room for less than 100/night for this experience. The worst was the a/c unit banging so loudly that I couldn't sleep. After driving 13 hours and having to wake up early for a flight the next morning I was very displeased. I have stayed at other Hampton's this was not what I expected.
We were in town for a volleyball tournament. We arrived around 4:30 and I informed the less then pleasant front desk person that I had trouble with the website. I needed an allergy free room and was unable to request it online. When she brought the pillows up to switch she was extremely annoyed. I also searched on hilton's website for a hotel with a hot tub and this property came up as having one. It does not. I was extremely disappointed. The pool was also very small, not ideal for the amount of guests using it. At the end of our day we stepped out for dinner only to come back and find no parking spots. After the same less than friendly front desk person threatened to have me towed, I asked her for a better option. She then snapped at me and said there is parking spaces all around the hotel and i should pick one. I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. I parked parallel along the side of the building. My last complaint is the screaming children in the hallway all hours of the night. We counted 6 kids and 3 adults coming out of the room across from us. This made our sleep impossible. The next day I complained to the front desk and a different woman working could care less about how awful my stay was. Her excuse was we have kids staying here on the weekends. I have never been treated so badly by a Hampton. I will NEVER go back. I didn't receive the Hampton Gurantee either. So disapointed.
Beautiful new hotel close to the airport and downtown. Lobby is modern looking and fresh. Staff was polite and prompt. We did not stay long due to a late check in and early flight the next morning. This place would be excellent for an extended stay with the pool and fitness room.
