Date of stay: October 2019
Highway 7 must be Toronto's unofficial drag strip, because the noise at night was constant. This wasn't regular highway noise but people actually racing in cars without mufflers. True, I could have asked to move, but we had a full schedule and were only there for 2 nights. By the second night, I was using 2 heavy duty ear plugs to kill the noise. The hotel itself is clean with large rooms and comfortable beds. The pool area was constantly filled with children so I was unable to try the swimming facilities. Parking is ok, but I wish Hilton wouldn't reserve upfront spaces for Platinum members. It makes the rest of us feel insignificant and it takes up handicap spots. No issues on the bill, price was so-so considering the noise.
Room Tip: Make sure your room is on the side away from Highway 7
