We liked the atmosphere of the whole Willow Court area. Quirky old trucks and great just wandering around in the old asylum grounds. People were pleasant and the motel restaurant was exceptional, both price and quality. The motel itself is more of a backpackers and fruit pickers but we booked a room with double and ensuit. The room itself was good but it had not been cleaned very well. Doubt if it was vacuumed and old cotton tips under the bed and dirty bathroom floor. If the room had been cleaned propery I would give this place 4 stars. The backpackers kitchen was filthy but it didn't affect us. Sorry, Mike!
We got a good service. The room was clean and the kitchen area has a curious decoration as the antiques shop does, the garden was nice too. Convenient locations to interesting points such as Mount Field National Park.
Interesting surrounds with antique shops and nice cafe with a pretty garden. Room had stained sheets and bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was awful! Dirty and terrible shower that sprayed all over the place. This place has huge potential if only given some basic maintenance and TLC.
Our room consisted of a spacious room with double bed and two bunks and bathroom. We also had access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. Clean and well presented, would visit again. Good position in town. Visited the Bush Inn hotel and enjoyed a good meal.
