The staff were universally friendly. The breakfast was nice and the staff kept up with things, kept them well-stocked and kept the area very clean. The room was clean, with microwave and minifridge, well-lit bathroom, and even a night light. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating when we wanted to sleep late.

Room very clean and breakfast was excellent. The location is close to many restaurant's and shops. It is about 15 minutes from I-71 and closer to downtown Wooster. I always stay there when i go to Wooster for work.

I booked a room here for 5 (3 adults and 2 kids). Industry standard is 2 people per bed so I made the assumption that allowing me to book a room for 5 they had safe and legal accommodations for 5. They put a fold out bed in the room for our 5th person. However, the only place the bed woud fit was in the hallway by the bathroom which completely blocked the access to the bathroom as well as blocking the only exit from the room. When I went to the front desk to discuss this, and that I was not comfortable violating fire code, I was told that hotel management is OK with it and that if I didn't like it, someone could ust sleep on the floor or I could pay for another room. She also told me that management tells staff to let guests know that using the fold out bed would break fire code but that was their choice and the hotel management is fine with them doing it.
Now on to the breakfast. Its a free hotel breakfast. I am not expecting anything exceptional or fancy, but I do expect common food safety practices be followed. I watched the breakfast staff bring more food out to replace the hot food multiple times and never changed the pan. She poured fresh gravy into the old gravy pan in the heater. Same thing with everything else I saw her replace. I never saw her swap out a single pan, just dump fresh stuff on top of the older stuff.

I assure you that we take fire safety at our hotel quite seriously. We do allow roll away beds in our rooms upon the request of our guests. It is at our guests discretion when choosing to use the roll-out bed where it can be placed. We do apologize that your concerns were not met with proper and quick resolution. Your feedback on our breakfast procedures are appreciated. This is not the preferred method for serving our hot on the house breakfast. We will review with our staff members and assure they receive further training. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

This was our first time staying at this location. We usually stay across town and I am a little bummed we never tried the Hampton until this last trip.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean, nice decor, comfortable bed, plenty of towels. The staff was friendly - every employee greeted us when they saw us in the hallways, elevator, foyer, etc.

Here is where they went over the top on customer service. I realized when I arrived back home that I had forgotten my glasses in the bathroom. We called them and they had them! They mailed them right out to me. We called late Sunday and I got my glasses back today (Wednesday). My glasses were wrapped in bubble wrap, with cushioning in the box. They not only sent my glasses to me, they took exceptional care that I would receive them safely.

This place is the whole package - excellent location, clean, friendly, great service. Highly recommend!
