My wife and I have visited this area several times since moving to Columbia. I noticed this property and planned to book a stay there sometime. Finally did this past weekend. Room was great. The public areas are fantastic. We enjoyed our relaxing stay. So relaxed never even thought about using the provided WIFI. Service from checking in thru checking out was awesome. There were instructions on how to use the multi-head shower. Of course I didn't need them until I blasted myself with cold water. The directions were easy to understand. We will be back again but, only for a longer stay.

This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Murrell's Inlet. My room (#311) was an efficiency with a king bed and pull out couch. The kitchen offered a full size refrigerator, two burner stove and a dishwasher. The bathroom provided the comforts of home. The Continental breakfast policy changed a bit during the pandemic, you now are required to make your breakfast selection from an extensive menu the night before for pickup starting at 8 am. This new policy may not work for early risers but there's no shortage on items you can select. So in spite of the pandemic limitations this hotel was a great choice! The only reason I did not give this hotel a five was due to the fact that the WiFi in my room was not working. I reported the issue only to be told I have to keep trying to log in. The WiFi did work fine in the area of the main entrance but was never resolved in my room.

Beautiful place! Nice spacious rooms (we had small beds but they were very comfortable). Such a small place with sweet, attentive staff and a great meeting room. Don't be mislead when the say light Continental breakfast, they have it all! I had the Jimmy Dean sausage-egg-and cheese biscuit every day and everything else you could want. What a value. We went down and had an amazingly great golf stay during the winter. I want to return soon...

Inlet Sports Lodge is a very classy hotel! I rented the conference room for my son’s 2nd & 4th Birthdays and it was spotless. It had all the amenities that we needed (close kitchen, fridge, ice chest, etc)
I think the rooms are stunning and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure all guests are satisfied.
I would 100% recommend this hotel for a vacation or staycation in the Myrtle Beach area.
Plus there is an Amazing restaurant! If you don’t go to Costa- you’ll be missing out on an amazing foodie opportunity!!!

My wife and I were in Murrells Inlet recently on business and were only able to stay at the Sports Lodge for one night. That's unfortunate because the Murrells Inlet area and the Sports Lodge in particular were very pleasant.

Our room at the Lodge was spacious, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. There is a full kitchen including a large refrigerator, ceramic range, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, sink and granite counter tops. In addition, there is a table close by with chairs for dining, so I would think that it's a perfect place for a family to spend a week or two during season.

The shower is excellent, but a bit complicated and that's why instructions are provided. The sink is a designer style sink, which I thought was a little harder to use than a standard sink. There is an in-room safe but it is not free. It's the first in-room safe I've ever seen that required a credit card. There are plenty of tissues and trash baskets as well as drawers and storage.

The king size bed and pillows were comfortable but not outstanding.

And finally, the pool is very small, but perfect for sitting around enjoying an afternoon. There is a well stocked bar (and restaurant, Costa) within 10 feet of the pool.

All in all, the Sports Lodge is really a very nice place to stay in Murrells Inlet and we look forward to revisiting it one day.
