Stayed here for 2 nights. Check in took a bit as the computers were not working well. They gave us our requested room on the 1st floor which was nice. You can enter through the front entrance or the back door. Key does not always work well in the back. There are a few parking spots in front, more along the side, and more in back. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Every day there were people sitting in the back parking lot in cars that would just watch people. Very odd. Room had an odor to it. It would go away if you kept the AC up high which worked for us. Furnishing in the room were very warn and older. TV was small, but in the lobby they had a wholde shipment of new TV's so that hopefully had changed. Pool area was a decent size and water a decent temperature. They only had a few towels stocked when we were there. Breakfast in the morning was very limited. They were struggling to keep up with very few people there. They ran out of plates the first day. The second day they couldn't find the key to the fridge that kept the milk and yogurt. They also must have run out of coffee cups because they just have styrofoam ones out the second day. Staff in general were not friendly or helpful. Two gentlemen during our stay were very nice. The rest....not at all. Things just appeared very unorganized. Should we travel through the area again, we would be finding a different place to stay.
Overall the hotel was nice. They appear to be doing some updates. We were on 2nd floor and it was very loud from noise upstairs. Beds/pillows and shower were nice. Pool was VERY cold. The breakfast was typical. But alot of variety. Not enough chairs/tables though. My husband had to sit in the lobby to eat. They kept running out of food. But understandable given the amount of people. The lady was doing a good job keeping everything filled up.
My husband (choice program member)& I checked in Friday, 6/28/2019 & checked out Saturday, 6/29/2019. Awaiting written confirmation of that stay from Comfort Suites representative. It was very hot/humid outside & we were greeted with a nicely cooled room. After conducting business with some associated stress..this was very inviting! Temperature setting easily adjusted/fine tuned....I am like "Goldie Locks" on temperature & need it "just right"! Check in staff cordial & friendly. King size bed really nice. The swimming pool inviting, but did not use this time! Chocolate chip cookies are always a hit with me! Audrey H.
The night staff is friendly and helpful
The room was fairly clean
The beds are pretty comfortable
"Exercise" room - The equipment is dirty and not kept up. The treadmill belt is about to give way at any time. The weight equipment is broken.
The morning staff that we have is rude and not accommodating. Four people behind the desk and not one of them thought about having breakfast available for all of the guests.
So the free hot breakfast for most of the guests after 8AM was free burnt eggs from the bottom of the pan if you got that lucky. When inquiring about more food the comment was made here is the last of it, better share. Now the price per night for our family of 4 just went up another $30.
The pool is disgustingly green on the bottom.
Unfortunately we have another night here!!!
I have stayed at this hotel 6 nights in 2018 and I would recommend staying here. The location is right off of the interstate but I haven’t noticed any noise. It is across the street from the small strip club but you wouldn’t know it. Things I like about this hotel; all 6 mornings I had complimentary breakfast and bacon was served each time – my main reason for coming back. The bathroom has a heater and a fan, a decent workout area is located on the main floor with weights and tower for multiple exercises, my room was clean and spacious, complimentary snack in the main lobby is served until 7:00pm. My most recent stay was 10/24/2018, I noticed some trim had been taken down in the room, maybe for replacement because my co-workers room also had the same trim removed. He also said the toilet in his room ran on and off all night. The cords for the tv along with cords for my night stand were exposed and not behind the entertainment center. This hotel does have a pool but NOT a hot tub.
