Stayed in my room on the top floor for a week. The highlight of the day was coming down for the fantastic breakfast in the relaxed breakfast room. Choice of salmon, french toast, pancakes, traditional....... all with toast, home made breads, cerial, fruits.... A fantastic start to the day. The table in the window is amazing with views up and down the street and across the harbour to the twelve pins mountains. Our hostess and all staff are so friendly and to boot you can use the native tongue if that suits. I will most definitely will be back.
Christina, was lovely and very accommodating. She bent over backwards to meet our needs, the room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect as it was right downtown Roundstone. We enjoyed our time at St Joseph's!
We spend a long weekend with Christina and were made thoroughly welcome during our stay. The bedrooms are warm, spotless and cofortable.
Not to be missed is the fab breakfast, especially with the window seat - a great way to pass some tume watching the world go by
We had the pleasure of staying with Christine and Seamus. Their hospitality was warm, and friendly. We felt at home immediately. The breakfast was the best in the west, or anywhere. The room was comfortable. The gorgeous back garden and clothes line were added attractions, as was the car park. Most importantly, the smells of baking permeate the B &B.
Christina treated us like family. She loaned my husband a hot water bottle for his sore back and gave him her favorite back cushion to take on the rest of our trip. The bed and room were very comfortable and the breakfast was huge and delicious. Christina made calls each night to make dinner reservations for us which was very helpful since the restaurants were booked over Easter weekend. The location of St Joseph's B&B is very convenient to the restaurants and shops in town. Off street parking is available behind the B&B.
The nearby merchants were friendly and engaging. The food at O'Dowd's was delicious. Lovely B&B in a friendly little village.
