When told they have two room suites I expected more than a room with a open large closet on the end. Also when told there was in door pool, that’s what I expect. Just untidy and unkept and something was stinking like raw sewage on the third floor.
Hampton Inn has just been remodeled. It is comfortable and quiet. Rooms are nice. It has a nice small pool in the back of the hotel plus a gym. Breakfast is included. Prices are reasonable for this area!
There was A crane in the parking lot and plastic on the windows, paint stuff in the parking lot- which made it hard to park. Our room had the thermostat hanging from the wall, the pool was under renovations, and it looked like someone had ripped the shower rod off and put it back by the holes in the wall. The outlet by the sink in the bathroom did not work. The clerk Haley was on the phone talking to a friend and not welcoming. The manager was gone at 3:00 PM. He never showed up in the morning until 8:30-9:00! The atmosphere was terrible! Don’t go there!
The hotel was in an excellent location and easy proximity to restaurants, and stores. The staff was nice and very helpful getting settled into our room. We used the preregistration online and selected our room so when we arrived it was a smooth check-in with no surprises. The desk clerk even offered to change our room to be closer to relatives who had just checked in. The internet connection was very good and the breakfast above average. I am not sure about the pool it looked rather small but unpopulated.
Room is good, but with TV you have to change input every time you turn it on. It's November and the pool is still full--of a green algae like substance with leaves and trash. The breakfast is ok, if your diet consists mainly of breads. I tried a boiled egg this morning, but it was spoiled; black and gray within part if the whites. They wisely threw out all of the rest.
